This isn't to make a big point. This is just for conversation. It's a pretty big error to be that far off the target height wise. If it was because of the difficulty of the approach then that's sloppy planning for such a big operation. If it's because of his miscalculation then that's very sloppy execution. Either of these is hard to accept especially when the largest argument for defense against hanjour's lack of experience is how easy it is to fly a plane if you don't have to land or take off.

After studying the pictures from both crashes my opinion is the Germanwings debris field is far bigger, denser and contains far more identifiable pieces and body parts than any of the 911 crashes. A quick google search should show this.
