Every pilot suicide crash is going to be almost identical. There are only so many ways they can do it.

So if this is the case, this flight is not the first to have occurred since changes we made to cockpit doors since 9/11 to keep the bad guys out. Why then has this not been addressed sooner since the November 29 2013 incident? This then appears to be a known scenario that the one who is to be protected by the changes turns out to be the to be the one we should be protected from and it was only a matter of time before it happened again

At the airlines I worked for we had a cockpit key even after the automatic door locks and new doors were installed. We also had a policy where a flight attendant always entered the cockpit when a pilot left for the lav. A knock on the door and the flight attendant would look through the peep hole and indicate it was the pilot who had indeed left... Or just our personal key would be used. It appears this airline did not have either procedure in effect.

Listening to John B. Wells (Episode 257) who just quoted a German news source which said. "In the 6 months the young man was off from flying he had converted to Islam". If that is the case then it is the same scenario that happen on a Egypt air flight where the Captain went to the Lav and the first officer dove the aircraft while repeating Allah Akbar into the sea killing everyone.

Everything from withholding a medical mental issue from the airline to a recent convert to some radical branch of the religion of so called peace. Pick whatever, but the dirt bag killed people who paid money to get to their destination. Not nice.

we have articles stating, the pilot heared voices and it reminds me that accident of urs, once again...

Aarhon in 2011 NY, a navy marine, who never took drugs or anything. But he claimed he heared voices from people who followed him and used ELF waves/sounds and asked him to kill others and one day he snaped and killed 26 people (?).

Since 1976, there have been 8 incidents, not counting this one, including three where non pilots stole an aircraft and eventually crashed. So this makes six pilot suicides, if this wasn't something else, in almost 40 years.

IIRC EgyptAir 990 was a revenge thing. There were military personnel on board, including a general who had been involved in the death of the relief captain's son. It had nothing to do with religion.

A classic tale of the 'dumb media today' who find and use a picture from someone with the same name as the pilot while they dont check to make sure that they aren't using a picture from someone else.
Couple that with stories such as converted to islam and what more, and indeed the stupid among us will generate a conspiracy.

That photo was used in a less than trustworthy source and it wasn't the same guy. The rest of MSM are posting pictures of an undisputed Lubitz.

Here in the UK there are reports of Lubitz having a psychosomatic sight issue that required medical tests for continuation as a pilot.

Today there is some sensationalism from certain sources from an ''ex girlfriend'' saying he was wasn't trustworthy, could hide secrets, waking in the night screaming etc. all very convenient. Even if he was okay, pretty sure most people have exes that would dish up some dirt of varying truthfulness.

If the investigation is to be believed then it obviously points to Lubitz being a ''coiled spring'' etc and a neat little blame package. I have a few suspicions about it, it has a slight air of set up about it but perhaps that is my own distrust showing. I guess if it was /is an actual conspiracy it would be just as difficult to prove as the rest seeing as all the information released on it is controlled.
