Here is a video of a supposed Bitcoin mine in operation, I dunno I have never paid attention to the issue at hand here on this thread. But after seeing this thread on the Main page I thought I should share this video with you all which I just this morning viewed and wrote it off as nonsense.

I have no opinion either way please don't hack me to death over this link.

I knew something shady was going on with BitCoin ever since I learned the creator wanted to remain anonymous. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is not the first time BitCoin "misplaced" millions of dollars worth of currency. It's pathetic. Anyone who is actually interested in the digital currency marketplace should check out Freicoin. It is a demurrage currency meaning it gives no incentive to sit on your currency (negative interest rate).

"Bitcoin" as a technology, has not "misplaced any money" unless you count "the fork" as a misplacement.

Why do people not say FIAT is doomed after every bank robbery?
Why dont they say that Email is dodgy because of the prevalence of 419 scams?

If you name anything with worth- I can give an example of someone stealing it.....the issue is not with the principle of assigning values to things- the issue is Humans stealing .

Evo was formed by a people from the TOR carding forum- people who speacialise in credit card fraud and I dont know anyone who wasn't aware of this BEFORE Evo fulfilled its near certain destiny.

But fiat IS doomed and email IS dodgy. People just don't say this because their brains are as numb as their toes.

The point I want to get across is that time and time again executives are walking away with millions after some sort of system malfunction or breach and I can't help but think that some of these are inside jobs. Hell, the creator is anonymous, he may very well be one of these executives. Sites are even making 2015 BitCoin scam forecasts. If that's not enough to turn people off to this business I don't know what will.

You are right though, people shouldn't have to steal from each other.

Exchanging tokens that have perceived value and communicating electronically via text is not going anywhere.

You are right to wonder about BTC's mysterious creator but maybe your suspicions are misplaced?

According to this article it might very well be an intelligent benefactor freeing humanity from having to use other peoples (unfair) money.
