So who's watching Stargazing live with Prof Brian Cox from Jodrell Bank Observatory tonight?

Second half guests include Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin answering viewers questions arising from main programme.

Yeah I know what you mean. Didn't the BCC ban them from pointing the telescope at a star that had possible earthlike planet to see if they could find any radio emisions?

Bottom of your source has Brian Cox tweeting this.

Cox has tweeted: "As @daraobriain pointed out, we did the 'health and safety' aliens story live on air last year as a joke. Not really news!"

So I wonder what the real reason was....? I think perhaps it was the Grey's (ie, old TV execs having a tanty).

It's all a bit embarrassing really isn't it? Working in a studio somewhere in a country who's climate so readily provides, lots of cloud and precipitation. They need to be in Under clear skies near the Equator and provide some proper footage.

Yes I watched it wasn't the best or worst, I agree it is taking a lot of risks with our weather but they do cover some interesting topics though sonewhat hurriedly so no real depth which is a shame but Buzz Aldrin is back on tonights show so may be worth tuning in for if nothing else.
