Why not? Its an opinion and one plenty of other people can understand. Someone insults a group of people they get offended, you can't understand this?
And be didn't insult the Republic he insulted the Northern Irish.
You should maybe worry more about the growth of Sinn Fein were you come from, what's that all about? Voting for murderers and terrorists? Why?
