Ummm...Here's a taste of what it means to...put on the uniform...to soldier...to let loose self and become organism...

Enjoy...

The war of art

The first day of AT we clustered
Uniformed blowflies consuming the hours
Thoughts chased through a thickness of prominent brow
Sluggish
Repetitive
Do heat and humidity birth a downward spiral of IQ
A befuddled stupor drunk on mela and serotonin

Our nomenclature defines us
Gives us shape and dimension
The organism has eaten face and mind
Body and brain stem
Digesting individuality and excreting conformity
Not so much conformed but uniformed
From many we are one
Legion is our name

It's so much fun to wear three layers of protective gear as the temperature climbs into the high nineties...praying that the batteries in your respirator keep their charge and blow that hot air onto your even hotter face.................................Huuwa...

Ummm...Thanks Syx...As I was experiencing it I couldn't help but think how studiously inane it all was...How sometimes training for proficiency was anything but...Emergency first responders have got to be some of the most brainwashed individuals I've ever had the pleasure to be one of...Yeah...I really want to be...that guy...running towards the radiological hazard as the people with any sense are all streaming in the opposite direction...

Well sometimes Ya do what Ya gotta do!! At least the running into something toxic would prob not happen everyday...
Now if it did,I'd be outta there after a couple days. LOL!!!
All the Training will be handy though, after the military days. Ya know? Real Life in 'The Burbs' can throw some Nasty Crap out there, and if You have Training on how to deal with it, that's Great! For You and anyone else who may need the help, that You are nearby at the time The S*it happens!!!!
