The War of The Worlds

Check it out theres going to be another movie on The War of the Worlds. For those of you who didn't know it was originally a book by HG Wells which takes place in the 1800's in Britain. Then there was a movie made in the 50's that took place in the 50's all over the world but specifically LA. This time I'm not sure were it specifically takes place but it's present day from what I've seen in the trailer. Tom Cruise will be in it (not sure what role he plays) and he will be working with Steven Spielberg (the director obviously) again. The two of them have worked together in the sci-fi movie Minority Report which was pretty good in my opinion so I've got high hopes for this remake. The movie is slated to be realesed in theaters in the summer of 2005.

Personally I'm very excited. I liked the book and I think that Spielberg and Cruise will deliver agian.
