Yep, that's right! Just like the title said. I work outside a lot and got tired of freezing my face off so I let my beard grow. The dang thing got huge. I looked like a mountain man or something. Now that the warm weather is here I decided to shave it off. It was bothering me so bad. Now my face feels so naked. I can't stop rubbing it. It's so smooth! Anyway, I'm not expecting flags, stars, or comments. I'm just posting this because I'm so happy to have the beard gone. Go, spring!

Before and after pictures please...if you feel so inclined.

Do you look younger without a beard?

Try going a decade without a hair cut and then shave it slick.
The sensation of rain droplets on my bare scalp was memorable.
I'm somewhere around 15 years of growth now. If an inch of it goes, it all goes.
I don't grow much facial hair...probably the Native American blood.

I shaved this morning too after months of having an epic beard. My face feels naked as well, but no more beard itch!

I can't wait for the reactions when I walk into work tomorrow baby faced...

Sorry, I didn't think to get pics. I look a lot younger without it. There were white hairs in it.

I'm glad I don't get psoriasis. Mine just makes me itch.

I know. My uncle lives there and gloats all winter long over the weather.

I couldn't imagine shaving my head like that. My hair's been long for so such a long time.
My friends are Cherokee, Delaware, and Sauk & Fox and they grow full beards.

What nation are you? I'm just curious.

It's getting around about that time for me, I'm coddling my winter beard knowing that it's soon time to go and missing it already.

Mrsnonspecific is ready with the clippers but it's like a part of me I just don't want to let go.

It's got little grey bits and ginger bits and some really long hairs that I don't remember allowing to get that long.

It's still a bit chilly here but then again I'm in the mountains. I can't wait until it's warmer. I hate wearing sweaters.

Not having the itch is great, isn't it?
I've had a beard for months before and went to work shaved and it took almost an hour for anyone to notice. How long do you think it'll take your co workers?

You better watch she doesn't do it while you're asleep. Or that she doesn't strap you down if you try to put up a fight.

I've got Florida and Mississippi Choctaw on both sides, smeared with a liberal helping of Irish.
I can grow a jawline beard, but it takes years. I look like an Amish Rastafarian with an Abe Lincoln beard and long dreads.

When the time is right I go willingly.

I just need a few more days.

Some people have a teddy bear, I have my man beard.
