Footballer Wayne Rooney was apparently knocked out during a boxing bout in his kitchen with a friend during a lads' night in.

The England and Man Utd captain, who wasn't drinking, was sparring with pal Stoke City defender Phil Bardsley when he appears to have been knocked unconscious.
The pair were messing around in the kitchen of Rooney’s £3.5million Cheshire mansion last month when the incident happened.
Another friend filmed the fight, which is believed to have started off playfully, but then “got out of hand” according to the un-named friend who filmed it.
After putting on boxing gloves and exchanging punches the video, obtained by The Sun, shows Rooney knocked to the floor where he lies on his back with his eyes closed for several seconds before filming is halted.

Rooney was meant to be a fairly talented boxer as a youth i thought, but Bardsley looked pretty tasty.

Yeah and cracking his head on the kitchen counter would have put him out for good. Nice poke though :O

& then spread himself out...


If he was out cold he'd have hit the ground a lot harder instead of breaking his own fall...
And the way he fell would have left him in an entirely different position.


Seen a hell of a lot of boxing knock outs...
