Can someone show me evidence of man being created from dirt?

It looks like you are now cherry picking context and intent within the biblical text just to try and invalidate it. If that is the case, then that bias will guarantee that none of your questions will be answered, because deep down you already know what it is saying and what it means.

Surely there's some kind of physical evidence that supports the narrative? I mean people believe it literally happened, so where is the evidence? Something like Pinocchio but in real life.

You, are the evidence.

As Maury Povich would say

This was kind of the point I guess. It was a response to another thread with a similar title. Let's call it a social experiment.

Well I came from another human, not dirt so not exactly. But in a way I agree with you. Life is a miracle, it's what the bible calls "God".

As Maury Povich would say: You, ARE the Father. Get it?

Might be a metephor. When in your mothers womb the nutrients that build you come from earth. Maybe.

I logged in just to reply. I'm well familiar with most of the threads that the OP starts, and a whole lot of them are issues about the Bible. Everyone knows you can't prove we were made from a handful of dirt, just like many other things in the Bible. Most scientific theories can't be proven either. That's why it's called a theory. I can prove this thread is pointless though, that much I can prove. I'd rather not waste the time proving it, but it can be done fairly easily.

I don't think you understand what scientific theory means.

When used in non-scientific context, the word “theory” implies that something is unproven or speculative. As used in science, however, a theory is an explanation or model based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning, especially one that has been tested and confirmed as a general principle helping to explain and predict natural phenomena.

Any scientific theory must be based on a careful and rational examination of the facts. In the scientific method, there is a clear distinction between facts, which can be observed and/or measured, and theories, which are scientists’ explanations and interpretations of the facts. Scientists can have various interpretations of the outcomes of experiments and observations, but the facts, which are the cornerstone of the scientific method, do not change.

Well then, let's just call every thread in this particular forum pointless. Our origins can't be proven can they? So why have this forum of debate and discussion at all?

Oh yeah, it's for discussion and debate, not proof. I guess this thread isn't pointless after all, it promotes discussion and debate on our origins.

Maybe this thread is an example of "tit for tat" of that other thread, but a point was trying to be made. Our origins cannot be proven, they can be debated though.

Interesting that silicon, the second most abundant element in "dirt", does not appear on that list.

That's because god needed silicon to make the giants. Duh.

Wait... so this whole time I've been looking for silicon lifeforms, I shouldn't be looking in LA?!
