I posted this on my ATS wall earlier but thought I'd share it in a thread as it is pretty unusual:

BT News

A man thought he had made a macabre discovery when he spotted what looked like a decomposing body on the banks of the River Thames.
Photographer Rob Powell was taking pictures of a ship when he spotted the grisly sight underneath Gravesend’s pier at the mouth of the river on Wednesday morning. But on closer inspection, he realised he was looking at a pile of rope and old metal which resembled a washed-up skeletal figure.

I've got to admit I would have looked twice if I'd seen it, pretty cool illusion, or pareidolia at it's finest.
I wonder if it just happened naturally or did someone with an artistic eye help it along, I'd love to find something like that at my beach.

Excellent. Another victim of Masonic mayhem perfectly camouflaged to elude discovery.

Muhahahaha.

If rope and metal was found then it would be allot more shocking if it was found on Mars. . .

All that proves is that it wasn't a normal human skeleton. RIP Wolverine

Haha I thought exactly the same, but as n00bUK said, metal and rope would be just as much of a find as a skeleton

Actually did laugh out loud then! Hadn't thought of that one...maybe it is just a cover-up story to distract us from the truth of Wolverine???

That's why they used molten metal in the film because water in the river Thames will only melt biological tissue quickly

I didn't read anything but the title then looked at the pic, Was thinking ewww but then read on, Kinda glad i did!

Wouldn't suprise me if it was a real body tho, Some bits of London are a right cess pit right now!

I did the same when I read the original news article!
...and I bet the Thames has had it's fair share of bodies thrown into it over the years, you wouldn't see one under the water, I remember thinking how dirty and brown it was last time I was in London, yuk.

Get your swim trunks ready, I see a brisk dip in the Thames in your future.

It's probably just a rock.
Yep, that's what it is.

Cool picture.
