I just realised that this will be my 2000th post and thought I would make a thing of it.

I know the whole post star flag thing is all a bit of fun but I felt the need to celebrate!

2000 is good, but when you get to about 10,000 the old grey matter gets a bit fuzzy, at 15,000 you'll need the large size peepee pants, at 20,000 you dont car about the peepee pants.

This is very true, at 5000 I forgot what my shoe size was and to this day I cant figure it out.

Its not the quantity but the quality that counts, I feel when one reaches such milestones, rather than cause for celebration it should be a time of quiet reflection and contemplation and one should look deeply into ones self and ask
"have my posts always been true to who I really am as a person?"
"Have I ever held back or posted content purely based on the hope of getting stars and recognition?"
"Have my posts always been kind, courteous and respectful of others even when those people had different opinions to me and were obviously wrong?"
And most importantly
"Have I been the best possible poster I could have been?"
and
"Do my posts hold up to the ATS motto of deny ignorance or do they in fact enable ignorance?"

Think long and hard on all the above and either be content you are a worthy contributor or if you find after deep introspection your posts are hollow and meaningless look at why this is so and embark on an inner journey to make yourself as starworthy as possible.

If I were you I would ask a mod to trash the thread so as not to distract your mind from these important questions with such trivialities as praise and congratulations.
