As far as the stars, I only like em when I write stories or poems.
Simple indicators as to the exposure really of those. Same for flags. Because some people might want to let Ya know they like something, but not write in a comment, so the flags and stars are a fast way to show they like it.

And Yes, your accomplishment was met. For Me at least!
