The sappiest poem ever written - if I do say so myself :-)

Wrote this way back when my daughter was in preschool, thought some of you might find it amusing - I've never have been able to figure out what to title it...


Keep believing magic happens,
keep knowing dreams come true,
keep wishing on the evening star,
as you are meant to do.

For all the feet firm on the ground,
and all the souls stuck too,
could use a dash of pixie dust
to loosen up the glue.

So take time for chasing rainbows
no matter what 'they' say,
every spirit seeks enchantment,
the dreamers know the way.

That's sweet. My taste runs more 'Edgar Allan Poe', but I can see a mom writing that while thinking of her preschool daughter.

Just a suggestion. I like this very much!

Thats a nice poetry, not sure what you could call it, maybe "Pixie glue dream", u like that.

Heres a poetry that I built.

Chasing dawn across the globe,
Come back Dawn, all is forgiven
As I look down upon the mountains in a far off land
One that I only heard of,
But to bear witness and see with my own eyes
Looking down through these crimson skies

Caught in wonder, and hoping to survive
Because the adventure has only just begun
Challenging my fears and growing
Making up for lost time
Knowing I was always here,
In another life
as they merge and the veil lifts

The tears will come,
The pain will come from the inside to the out
And there will be rebirth
The spirit must expand

Thank you all for the kind words - I really thought people would find it too corny to be 'enjoyable (it always seems to me like something you'd find on one of those 1980's era 'inspirational' posters..)
