Skeptic!? what is hot linking?

No really what is hot linking?
It's come up a bit lately.. what is it. And how do I avoid it? If it cost money. What steps must I take not to do it?




If it helps.. I do the copy and paste approach... but now I'm worried

"Hotlinking is a term used on the Internet that refers to the practice of displaying an image on a website by linking to the same image on another website, rather than saving a copy of it on the website on which the image will be shown."

So, basically, you should down load the image to your computer, then upload to ATS and then copy and paste from your library

I was really starting to worry that copying and pasting a source.. was hot linking.. I was just trying to bring up valid to almost valid sources...

I learn more everyday.
