Regarding Hillary's no-longer-secret personal email accounts and personal server...and Benghazi, THIS could be the other shoe to drop.
It is obviously something JW and the House Benghazi Select Committee are deeply interested in.

IMO, next week, the subject of Hillary Clinton State Department Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin will be moving out of the shadows and into the press. This is what the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign is most worried about coming to light.

There is so much more to this woman, Ms. Huma Abedin, than her husband Anthony Weiner's sex-ting scandal and her very close relationship with Hillary Clinton and the State Dept. Stay tuned...MUCH more to come on this subject.

Scandal: The email plot thickens with news that Hillary Clinton's deputy chief of staff also used a private email account on the Clintons'
server to conduct government business.

Watchdog group Judicial Watch, which doesn't like being lied to or jerked around any more than the House Benghazi Select Committee does, has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of State seeking all communications, including emails, between Secretary of State Clinton and Huma Abedin with Nagla Mahmoud, wife of ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi between Jan. 21, 2009, and Jan. 21, 2013.

The lawsuit — which also seeks a thorough search of Clinton's newly discovered private email accounts connected to a home-based server to exclusively conduct government business — comes alongside the issue of subpoenas by the Benghazi Select Committee. Both have long been curious about the scarcity of produced emails with Clinton's name on them.

Abedin, perhaps best remembered as the wife of disgraced former congressman Anthony Wiener, is a longtime Hillary friend and confidante. She served as Clinton's deputy chief of staff at the same time she worked as a consultant to the Clinton Foundation and a New York advisory firm tied to the Clintons, one that did business before the government.

Foreign contributions to the Clinton Foundation — including from governments and sources which might not have our best interests at heart, during and after Clinton's tenure as secretary of state — are raising questions about conflicts of interest and possible quid pro quos.

Abedin made $135,000 a year as Clinton's deputy, a period in which she is reported to have raked in as much as $355,000 from consulting contracts. Having a pipeline into the Clinton inner circle is invaluable to some. This reminds us of Johnny Chung's famous comparison of the Clinton White House to a subway turn style — you had to put money in to gain entry.

Abedin also has some interesting family connections. Her father is said to be close with the Saudi government's Muslim World League, and her mother is said to be a member of the Muslim Sisterhood. World Trade Center bombing prosecutor Andrew McCarthy wrote in National Review: "The ties of Ms. Abedin's father, mother and brother to the Muslim Brotherhood are both specific and substantiated."

The Muslim Brotherhood took power in Egypt with the Obama administration's approval after it had all but abandoned the government of Hosni Mubarak, a long-time ally and friend. It was while Abedin was advising Hillary that State dropped its long-standing policy of having no dealings with the Muslim Brotherhood.

news.investors.com...

The Judicial Watch lawsuit specifically seeks the following:
A. Any and all records of communication between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Nagla Mahmoud, wife of ousted Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi, from January 21, 2009 to January 31, 2013; and
B. Any and all records of communication between former State Department Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin and Nagla Mahmoud from January 21, 2009 to January 31, 2013.

"Now we know why the State Department didn't want to respond to our specific request for Hillary Clinton's and Huma Abedin's communications," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. "The State Department violated FOIA law rather than admit that it couldn't and wouldn't search the secret accounts that the agency has known about for years. This lawsuit shows how the latest Obama administration cover-up isn't just about domestic politics but has significant foreign policy implications."

Let me start off by saying i am no Clintons supporter. Mostly lean libertarian and avoid dems and pubs and their disgusting practices of devouring lobby money.

This issue is ridiculous. There have been 3 secretaries of state since email was officially used. Cheney all personal emails too. The only sec of state to not use private email is Kerry.

The only rule Clinton could have broke was not saving her emails since the law she supposedly broke was not in existence until she left office. She has given over 55,000 emails.

I think we are arguing such a minute thing its ridiculous. But hey that's how we never talk about the real problem right?

Well it's an election season. So, any story that casts a potential front runner in the wrong light is gonna make the news. Be it a non issue or an actual problem.

Could be sabotage from the DNC themselves if they don't want Hillary on the ticket in 2016.

Its true. And for that part I am grateful but its just so annoying to hear all the people parrot this stuff out without even knowing anything themselves. As if the email or Benghazi situation is the real problem.

Folks this is what happens when democracy disappears and the oligarchs take over. We have two progressive parties one "conservative" one "liberal" both led like a donkey or elephant around the circus by the billion dollar carrots dangled in front of their noses. Until we clean up the election process and campaign finance issues the politicians are the puppets of private agendas. Plain and simple.

55K "is a lot of e-mails'" that's the official excuse to quit looking.

55K e-mails from the Secretary of State over a four year period (using only one account for ALL official traffic).

Compare that to Lerner who had 40K e-mails to 80 employees in a two year period for the IRS.

I love the Clinton's because they are the ultimate in "teflon Aristocracy". It doesn't matter what they do or say, some people will make excuses for them.

After all, "what difference does it make?"

And you can bet your dollars that Hillary and Bill are long time members of that Oligarchy and the decline of the USA will only continue under her leadership. Or anybody else's that makes the ticket.

The only person I would expect to do a half decent job would be Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. I could see Rick Perry doing well if he can get away from the whole indictment scandal.

Unfortunately, Monica Lewinski wasn't wearing a 'teflon' dress.

The Clintons are definitely teflon aristocrats...but their close associates and co-conspirators usually end up taking their heat.

That's what I want to know what difference does it make?

I hate the Clintons. Bill is the most responsible for the campaign finance problems. The telecommunications act created citizens united which led to the all out financing from private donors.

My point is who cares about the emails. The protocol wasn't in place yet. In 2009 there was a brief law that said state officials need to keep their emails. That's it.

How come there isn't a huge discussion about campaign finance, term limits, lobby power, etc?

Hillary just did what every other politician since Nixon has done. Which is lie cheat and steal. Its no shocker and she did it no more or less than Cheney.
The emails are a minor symptom of a fatal disease. This is just another partisan rodeo.

Ps yes the Clintons bushes and every other candidate besides some local reps are part of the oligarch network.

In a nutshell – quoting former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy writing at National Review this week – Huma Abedin “worked for many years at a journal that promotes Islamic supremacist ideology that was founded by a top al-Qaida financier, Abdullah Omar Naseef.” That would be for at least seven years (1996-2003), by the way, during which Abedin also worked for Hillary Clinton.

Let this sink in for just a moment. The journal Huma worked for – which promotes Islamic supremacism and was founded by al-Qaida financer Naseef, who also headed the Muslim World League, a leading Muslim Brotherhood organization – is called the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs.

It was edited first by Huma’s father, Syed Abedin, and now by her mother, Saleha Abedin. Saleha is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood. Mother Abedin also directs an organization (the International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child) that comes under the umbrella of the Union for Good, another U.S.-designated terrorist organization.

As McCarthy reminds us, “the Union for Good is led by Sheikh Yusef al-Qaradawi, the notorious Muslim Brotherhood jurist who has issued fatwas calling for the killing of American military and support personnel in Iraq as well as suicide bombings in Israel.”

Laws requiring officials to keep official traffic go back to 1959.

Did the other officials you mention have a private server set up in their house so that they could skirt FOIA requests?

Did the other officials tell their minions to use ONLY official e-mails while continuing to use a private off site server that they controlled?

Clinton simply broke the law when she failed to make her official traffic part of the public record.

She can turn over what ever she wants to at this point. It has been scrubbed by her people to make her squeaky clean.

Indeed "what difference does it make", it will just be Bush 3.0 apparently.

Your source is about as credible as the onion.

But since you brought that up lets just talk about banking, oil, and defense.

The current GOP has many many ties to Islamic jihadist through the long time well documented relationships with middle eastern royalty. In nearly all cases of terrorism Western dollars funded it indirectly by having ties to some of these scoundrels.

It doesn't matter who it is in office. Dealing with other nations leadership that goes so strongly against our ideals leads to disaster. By giving Saudi A. Our business we allow radical thinking to have strength.
It Ain't Democrat it ain't Republican. Its just how it is.

We don't fit with strict Islamic society well. And We shouldn't have too. Nor should they have to adhere to ours but we shouldn't do business with people on the state level or security contracts at all that have ideology we oppose. (public stoning's of women for various non western issues(even while pregnant) mass murder, murder and genocide of other religions, on and on).

You do understand all the things you mentioned are modern things right? It was much easier for Ronald or Daddy Bush to burn letters or never even write them to begin with. If you honestly believe Clinton is unique in her pushing the boundaries of secrecy you are a noob to politics. Maybe she got caught maybe the media doesn't have all there facts.
Problem is both the media and politics are so bought and sold it is so hard to know what the truth is.

Go back to what I said about Clinton and the Tele com act.

And you shouldn't. But the fight is elsewhere. This is a distraction. Did Dick Cheney use private email?
The problem is the media is owned by agendas as well and consolidation is legal.
The problem is because of this the only logical solution from the Supreme court was to allow every Rich person the opportunity tinfluence public opinion giving citizens united an actual argument.
The email thing could be a small issue. But lets be clear Jeb's family has more dirt on them then anyone on earth. Nazi banking, Saudi royalty, Defense industry, and a spy chief not anyone I want in power. Maybe as an advisor.....

Washington (CNN)—The U.S. ambassador who resigned his post in 2012 amidst official criticism that he used a private email account for official business told CNN Friday that he was "very surprised" to learn that his boss at the time, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had been doing essentially the same thing at the same time.

"I was very surprised to learn of the double standard," former Ambassador to Kenya and Air Force General Scott Gration told CNN.

Gration noted that Cheryl Mills, the then-State Department Chief of Staff "obviously knew Secretary Clinton was using commercial email, yet she stated my use of Gmail was one of the reasons I had to move on."

**snip**

Gration said that his "experience was somewhat different than Secretary Clinton's use of her commercial account, yet I was 'fired' for the use of Gmail in the U.S. Embassy, my insistence on improving our physical security posture, and other twisted and false allegations. I've chosen to move on and to be better, not bitter."

Always double standards for some folks. Even though officially he resigned, he states he was fired. With all that's come to light about this, I don't see how she can survive politically. It's just too much.
