I won't mention the formula, but half was castor sugar. The other half I think was sold as a gardening type powder. Awesome stuff. Set it off with small firecrackers.

Those were the days in the old school yard indeed.

Coles County (Mattoon) Illinios for me. Though I have been to the quad cities, I don't ever plan on going back.

I know of Mattoon. Never been there, but knew some who frolicked that universe! LOL!! They would bring back, well things, every now and then.......
Yah we moved from The QC's over a year ago. I miss it sometimes, but not too much usually! It did have more to do than where I am now though. The cops there however were very corrupt. I knew some from before they went on the force, then after they joined would ask me about things and I was like, Umm, I don't think so!!! I left all those ways back there. Easier now really this way...... But......

I've tried to find a pic through Google for you of the mascot. Quick searching however yields no results.

My freshman year, the football team was on a four year losing streak, (like hadn't won a game in four years, seriously). I mean could you blame them? Our "rival team" was the Trojans. How can an ear of corn compete with that?!

Almost felt like I woke up in a parallel universe or something.
