A small psychological experiment

DON'T FLAG AFTER 7 OR YOUR HEAD WILL EXPLODE

A small psychological experiment if you're willing. It requires me to ask for flags. If that causes you to feel uncomfortable or reel with disgust, I am begging you to please pass this thread as if you never clicked on it. Obviously, the freedom our members have here takes presidency over any request I make and at the end of it all, I'm asking everybody to just take it serious with a polite approach or don't participate at all.

I cannot guarantee that my flag count will remain this way forever, but there is a reason I came up with this idea. Could a small group of members coordinate an approach to achieve 7 flags and then stop? Could EVERYBODY then show restraint and NOT flag it out of spite? Can you be an adult about it? Could members exhibit self control and respect? Do you really have to be "that guy" who flags it after 7?

PLEASE! I BEG YOU!

As of me hitting the post button, my count is 1104. The goal is 1111. The only point of this thread is to achieve that number. If it increases due to another thread, I could care less. Communication is key and the quicker the better as to not have them be confused with another thread getting flagged. I only need 7 flags so if everybody starts jumping all over this, it's not going to work. IT MUST REMAIN AT 7.

The experiment here is, as vast a community that ATS is and the amount of different personalities that frequent this place, could we all agree at the same time to achieve something and stop completely after it's been achieved? Can we all be happy about achieving that goal together whether we participated or not?

Can you NOT be a jerk at flag this thread after it reaches 7 PLEASE. That way, I know if the number increases, it was due to my other threads. Thanks in advance and I'm cool if you think me or my ideas are stupid. If this thread gets flagged more than 7 times, it proves we have failed as a species, lol. I wonder how quick that will be? DON'T DO IT!!!

Now. I want to wait till 7 and then flag, to see if my head explodes!

Interesting experiment

5 now only two more...

I think that some "funny guy/gal" will flag beyond it.

I would flag but am scared that with only 2 to go I will inadvertantly be the bad guy.

Without communication, it could have never been achieved. I even gave you guys that hint. A few members might have flagged simultaneously which could have been avoided if while at 6, a person posted their intention before adding a flag.

I did not wish to be negative, I would love it if you succeed and my faith in humanity would be raised a little.

I was just thinking about the one bad apple principle.
