IS destroying another ancient archaeological site in Iraq

So this is what Isis is doing? They attack the Shiite members of Iraq. They attack Assad and his government. They attack ancient Assyrian and Babylonian artifacts. What they don't seem to attack are American, Israeli, or Sunni interests.

I suspect these attacks on ancient archeological sites are just designed to revile the world and gain notoriety and garner sympathy for anti-Islamic forces.
