Well, they don't have anything sophisticated enough to where it wouldn't be readily available in the region. They have taken over many military fortifications, and captured small and medium arms, as well as, vehicles. They have also reportedly acquired millions in cash from their pillaging. I'm sure they have an steady supply of cash from a variety of donors as well. With their radical ideology I'm sure there are many wealthy fundamental oil czars willing to donate. 5,000 guerrilla troops living amongst the local populace...what about this screams of US funding to you? They have a powerful ideology, they are accepting all walks of life into their fold, and apparently have a well organized leadership.

The US wants nothing to do with this, they don't want boots on the ground. Obama doesn't want boots on the ground. Not everything is some giant US conspiracy. They have so much access to oil in the region that they don't know what to do with it all.

You need money to buy guns, vehicles, petro, food, run phones etc. Where they getting the fund, I mean somewhere along trail it has to go back to a bank account? And the phones they use, I though the NSA can listen to any phone call on earth? Take away their funding source, they cant pay their ISIL members and disconnect their phones will severely limit their communication range.

As for comparing them with Nazis. The big difference were the Nazis had a military industrial machine and were masters of scientific innovation and construction of weapons. Its no secret they were working on the atom bomb which if they had of gotten it may be running the world now. Isil is the polar opposite in this respect they want a stoneage world. They have reached their limits of what they can do because with the weapons they carry, hand held weapons with a tank here and there. No air force, no high tech or innovative technological weaponry to give them an edge.
