If you were not paying $100 an OZ or more in the 70's you probably never saw the good stuff!

There was lots lots of commercial weed from $10 oz mex to $60 oz Columbian.

But when you got into the high grade you paid the price. There was so much high grade stuff it is no even worth the effort to list them all.

That was before piss testing, when a lot of cannabis connoisseurs had good jobs so they could afford the better grade of smoke. Boeing had its own underground cannabis club and they always had something especially good to smoke.

i don't believe it was less potent. i smoked in the 70s and 80s and i have seen what they selling as weed now adays and from what i can tell is current stuf has alot of crap added to it . back in my day the herb was nice and easy to roll out and light up now its wet and sticky looking which tells me its likely dipped in something or other which would make for much worse effects likely embalming fluid or other things.

No thats just because there are more THC crystals on the bud.
My pal grows it and treats it like his baby all organic and it still comes out like that.

Oh yeah, it’s better. More consistent anyway. Of course there was always the good stuff, but that wasn’t as common. It’s a science now man. Just like that chicken that’s got the big breast for the McNuggets. Mendelson with peas. We just got somebody working on our side now.

But seriously what difference does it make? Are these new super strains going to wreck the minds of today’s children? Is Reefer Madness one again a concern. Are people just getting too much of the good stuff?

Yep it was marijuana has increased in potency by 17.5 times since 1972 (I think was the year)

My friend got marijuana poisoning a few years ago and the hospital could not cure him then a specialist saw him who told him he could be cured with slippery elm bark and 1 other thing that he can't remember. the doctor had written a book on marijuana and its effects and history.
