You know, in Hitler's day, it was a cool thing to starve people in concentration camps. I guess that makes it ok. BTW, I dont care who does what drug, but its pretty stupid to follow the advice of a pychological researcher who had his mind clouded with a mind altering substances. Do you need as stoner to tell you how to think?

Whats your problem anyways, I was trying to stick up for the atheists?

Go ahead and do a bit of reading on Freud and his contributions to modern day psychiatry/psychology. Get back to me.

And funny, where you were "sticking up" for "the atheists"....I didn't get a single drop of that from your posts...

They think that the value and moral worth of a human being is determined by their IQ level, and they the atheists themselves being the smartest lot on the planet apparently want to be the ruling class.

It's true. It's all true!

Every night this is true.

Every night we.....

...try and take over the World!!

His contributions must have been big, since over half of modern western society cant function without SSRI anti-depressants, benzodiazipines chill-pills, and amphetamines to keep them under control. Was that Freud's vision?

There is no way you can prove anything you say you experienced. Therefore religion should remain personal and away from the public and the future of humanity. Whatever happened in your life happened to you, personally, and nobody else. That isn't realistic proof, only your own faith that furthers your already deep belief and therefore gives your arguments no substance.

I was relating with a religious example, my mother being a Christian and the fact it takes a personal faith to interpret an "experience" as God-like in nature. Telling me I'm using "Christian doctrine" as a weapon for argument is the same as saying there isn't a comparison, as if your faith can't be touched with comparisons.

You still haven't explained to me what makes your religion superior. It's wrong to assume you made the right choice and all others are misguided. Do you hold the same respect for others beliefs? Would you attend a Catholic or Christian or Jewish church gathering? The lack of "depth" I have for your religion is troubling and I would love for you to answer my questions as to further my knowledge of your superiority.

well stop impeding the flow of nature... it's quite unnatural and indecisiveness is a problem with the world.

I don't expect everyone to see that though, that's a personal opinion.

What about Buddhists? they don't follow either.
Look you may need a bogey man in your life to excuse your short comings but many do not.
Human nature is just that nature and to try and blame our mistakes on a mythical bogeyman is just childish.
I think it's about time humanity grew up.

Oh and obvious troll thread is obvious....

I think this is the first time I've ever heard the term atheistic morals...

I thought morals were just, morals.

I'm similar.

God didn't give us a guide on the morals of a few (recent) things... eg Nuclear Weapons
So that's a moral issue with have to resolve with our free will/initiative.

& I'm sure there is Atheists and believers on both sides of the argument.

& many others.

As you may have surmised, I am an atheist.

I do not believe God or Satan exist. I won't go into the reasons.

But I will play your game. Let's say your camp is correct.

Well I obviously get a choice as to which path I take.

I choose Satan. Clear winner, with the moral high ground.

Morality is nothing more than an agreed upon set of acceptable behaviours within a community. To say anyone of another community is amoral based on your personal/community standards is ridiculous. Moral codes are as varied and unique as any set of rules or laws based on geography, religion, race, sect etc. One has no more right to judge others based on what they consider moral than others do to judge you.

I believe all religions are very clear about standing in judgement of others. But then again how many Theists actually practice what they preach? Fortunately I'm Atheist so I can't be conflicted with my faith only conflicted within myself should I
behave in a less than spiritual manner.

God Bless.

my religion is Heavy Metal, please do not refer to me as a Christian or a Muslim or a Hindu, I am a theist.

there is no need to bring religion into this.

You mention both atheism and theism and don't expect people to bring religion into this? Alrighty then...

Theism:belief in the existence of a god or gods, especially belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures.

it's Satan or Jesus bro! no inbetweeners

Well that answers that! Your theism clearly lies in Christianity or Islam, right?

So pray tell why others can't bring it into conversation but you can!

You've no credibility. Go away, troll.

it is a minor anomaly... the anomaly exists none the less as observed in nature.

this does not mean the anomaly is the majority with which we rule by, or standardize with.

Aha....so, one's a sin...the other is an "anomaly"....

NOW I UNDERSTAND YOU!!!!

yes... I hug trees, you harm nature it's not cool. It is also not cool to confuse my kids by displaying this abnormal anomaly in public space.

Your kids are idiots then?.
A simple explanation from you would clear it all right up, kids don't hate like adults do and they will accept it and get on with their lives.
Maybe you should try to talk to them or maybe they already know about it all and it is they who need to talk to you.

it goes against the natural development and the natural procreation of the human species to display this anomaly.

There is nothing more disgusting than something which is traditionally conveyed as being a positive thing, and yet, clearly from your tone you are essentially telling me to go to hell.

Congratulations. You've been identified and cataloged as a hypocrite.

Also gay folk can have kids also.
Natural development? of what?.

Honestly, I am not certain if that was his vision or not.

But, as someone who from a biological deficiency standpoint needs SSRI's, and benzos......

I'm glad he played the role he did. I went for thirty years with no understanding of why life was so horrible for me. Neither did anyone from my family who clearly passed things on genetically.

But thanks to the very medications you just mentioned, life is better.

So make fun of them all you will. And I'll continue to praise Freud.

Enjoy your kool-aid.

You're missing the point.

I don't need an argument.
& I don't need to prove anything, despite your persistence to make it seem so.

This thread is about morals.
Not my personal experiences.

Which, by the way, is realistic proof... Seeing as it happened, and I was there.
Those experiences are not determined by faith...
They were tangible... Real.

Faith is when I believe that things will improve on Earth because God will make it so...
That injustice with be dealt with...

You're conflating things that have actually happened to me, with things I have faith in...

Which is an all too common and boring argument of the non-believer.

There is no "comparison" either...

Because Islam and Christianity are not the same.

You might as well try and discuss Buddhism using Hindu texts...

& I have no superiority...

For that you'll need to speak to evangelists, fundamentalists and the Chosen ones.

The only superiority I've encountered in this thread is from you...

Speaking in absolutes, about some things you weren't there to witness/feel/comprehend...

Instead you hit me up with some pseudo-science about hallucinations...

For the record, I know exactly what hallucinations are like...
& they're no way connected to the experiences I'm talking about.
Nor are dreams...
Nor are delusions...

Fully compos mentis.

Anyways, all irrelevent, I already told you twice, it is a personal thing...
You keep trying to make it general.
