Fate Decides

What a tangled web you weave,
Of things you think I can't perceive.
But all the choices I've made so far,
Are because I know who you really are.

I choose which road I wish to follow,
All of them filled, with possibility.
The door may swing your way tomorrow,
Doesn't mean you've gotten the best of me.

A tightrope you seem to walk sometimes,
Trying to obtain that which you desire.
Each foot strategically placed on the line,
Enjoying the view, from upon the high wire.

Tread softly, you are not immune,
There are things that only fate decides.
But you will know the truth of it soon,
That you were the one along for the ride.

Thanks,

This is about fate censuring the cocky...and turning the tables

With many lines Its easy to lose control and get crossed signals
...Im not brave enough to try it - good work
