Three short poems I wish to share...These will most likely be morphed into something else..So, before they changed, I wanted to document them here as they first were....

Changes

What I once was, I am no longer,
Can never be that girl again.
But I have found I am much stronger,
Then I was way back then.

Time has played a symphony,
Notes placed carefully upon the score.
Each one changing a part of me,
I am no longer who I was before.

Fate resides

The labyrinth in which fate resides,
It twists and turns so gracefully.
The master of illusion and disguise,
Leads you to roads of opportunity.

The minotaur searches within the maze,
Wants to keep me from my destiny ,
But I carry with me this steely blade,
Should he try to block my path from me.

I have a voice

Drink from the cup of eternal love,
To get the gift of life's virtuosity,
Silently the dawn will come again
And take me where I need to be.

Not a hand will pull me down,
Nor can a voice silence mine.
Many things I have been shown,
Future, past, and current time.

Thanks,

Those are good. Thanks for sharing. You said "These will most likely be morphed into something else". That reminded me of this Robert Frost quote:

I have never started a poem yet whose end I knew. Writing a poem is discovering.
