Here we have yet another curious "oddity" coming from the Obama White House.

It seems they are sending Susan Rice and Samantha Power to the upcoming AIPAC conference.

Susan just got through bashing and criticizing Israel's leader Netanyahu the other day.

Very puzzling strategies indeed.

There seems to be conflicts regarding the U.S./Iran discussions about nuclear weapons and such.

But what can anybody expect from a sloppy schlock outfit like the Obama Administration.

In a bid to ease soaring tensions with Israel over a potential Iran nuclear deal, the White House has decided against snubbing America’s leading pro-Israel lobby and will send both President Barack Obama’s national security adviser and UN ambassador to address its annual policy conference.

The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee announced Thursday that the Obama administration has confirmed that national security adviser Susan Rice and UN Ambassador Samantha Power will speak to its conference this weekend.

US officials had floated the idea of sending a non-Cabinet level official to show displeasure with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to Congress in which he will argue against an Iran deal.

Rice’s selection came two days after an interview with Charlie Rose on PBS in which she faulted both Netanyahu and Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner, who extended an invitation to the prime minister to address Congress on Iran next week, for creating the current “destructive” tension between Washington and Jerusalem.

Maybe AIPAC should boycott and walk out on Susan Rice?

Maybe it is a conciliatory visit to atone for the indiscretions of our president?

"What has happened over the last several weeks, by virtue of the invitation that was issued by the speaker and the acceptance of it by Prime Minister Netanyahu, two weeks in advance of his election, is that on both sides there has now been injected a degree of partisanship which is not only unfortunate; it’s destructive of the fabric of the relationship."

That's what you consider "bashing?" Oh boy.

Did it occur to you that Netanyahu might be on the way out? The last few months of polling haven't been looking all that great for Likud or for Netanyahu's approval rating.

The Obama proxies said all that.

Netanyahu didn't.

Why would *only* the Obama proxies say that?

I have read a lot of related articles today, they did not leave me very inspired for world peace.
This one, take it for what its worth, but the group claiming the secret facility has proven good on intel in the past.

The Odds Of A War Between Israel And Iran Just Went Way Up

Despite Iran's denials that it is on the path to a nuclear bomb, new evidence charges that the Islamic republic has an "underground top-secret site" that is enriching uranium intended for nuclear weapons that has been hidden from the West for years.

Regardless of what you think of Bibi, if he feels Israel was left hung out to dry, he will act.

But now all bets are off. At this point, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes that the Obama administration has totally given up on the goal of preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Just check out comments that he made during a speech earlier this week…

“I respect the White House and the President of the United States but on such a fateful matter, that can determine whether or not we survive, I must do everything to prevent such a great danger for Israel,” Netanyahu said in a speech.

He said world powers had pledged to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, adding that “from the agreement coming together it appears they have given up on this commitment

I think what confuses you is that your have conflated Netanyahu with "Israel".

The AIPAC conference has to do with Israel as country....Netenyahu is an Israeli Politician.

You seem to be suggesting because Netenyahu has made a poor political choice the USA should write off Israel?

PUHLLEEEZZ! The BS is so thick around Iran.

Yes..Iran's leaders are idiots, but there is ZERO risk of war. Hell, even if Iran DID get Nukes, they would still kow-tow to Isreal and the USA in the face of certain annihilation.

This is about rhetoric and the Iranian government is desperate to save-face amongst it's people while getting some of the sanctions lifted.

Iran is as much a threat to the USA and Israel as the S*&^ talking Venezuela.

Israel has been declaring them the Boogie-Man on the verge of launching world war 3 since 1979!!

Iran is simply the regular fall back Boogie-Man that the far right in Israel needs....for 30 years now!

I should say so. If you had been following any of this the only reason why Benny is coming to the states is to try and disrupt the peace talks between America and Iran. Well that and to get some face time for the elections back in Israel.

The only way Israel will attack Iran is if America is about to attack Iran. Without using nukes Israel doesn't stand a chance of defeating Iran on their own and Israel knows that.

They don't need to win any war, they just need to secure and destroy the sites where Iran are spinning their centrifuges.

Israel demolished Saddam's reactor and set him back decades, no need to conquer.

Thats an old one by now. "They been purifying the bomb underground for years". All the fuel they have was delivered for their reactors by the Russians and all the isotopes are carefully tracked.

You are accusing them of somehow siphoning off these materials to enrich and build a bomb and thats impossible. So is finding enough Uranium secretly, refining it and enriching it to bomb grade without that leaving any trace. Thats again, impossible.

That sort of fell by the way side for the time being. The Morons didn't expect Syria to be such a tough nut to crack.

This to me is a phony issue.

If Obama is so against Netanyahu then where’s the proof?

Where are his public rebukes of Israel’s rotten actions in Palestine?

Their settlement building and always running away from REAL peace talks.

This Obama Netanyahu fight IS HYPE, imo.

Uranium is extremely plentiful, it just takes effort to extract the useful isotopes.
