Lol very interesting duet.

I dig this song, the type of song you drive around the block to let it finish if it comes on right before you get home.

I'll add an amusing fact that's virtually unknown...

The "Mount Up" monologue was sampled from Young Guns. I used to have the movie memorized. Haha. When the song came out years later it blew my teenage mind.

Warren G:
"Regulators. We regulate any stealing of his property, we’re damn good too. But you can’t be any geek off the street. You’ve gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean, earn your keep. Regulators, mount up!"

Young Guns:
We work for Mr. Tunstall as regulators. We regulate any stealing of his property - we're damn good too! Mr. Tunstall's got a soft spot for runaways, derelicts, vagrant types. But you can't be any geek off the street, gotta be handy with the steel, if you know what I mean, earn your keep.

www.youtube.com...

"Regulators, mount up!" is from a different part of the movie.

The "G's" were great! The quote'll live on in infamy, even if no one knows the dubious origins. Warren G seems to have a sense of humor on him.
This really brought me back to that era, good fun!!
