When people say that they don't trust people and abhor the idea of individualism they are necessarily statists.

The most common form of statism here is socialism.

If you aren't, you are still a jerk.

Defund departments. Pull the plug before it's too late.

There's an easy way to accomplish that... stop committing crimes.

I know, right? Let them eat cake, right?

Even that protestor that was held....his crime was obviously just trying to have a voice, right? If he can still talk, he hasn't had enough cake.

Ah yes....cake. Vanilla with a light bit of sweet cream frosting.

Oddly enough that tiny slice with every evening meal somehow kept hope alive during my detainment.

Thank god for cake.
Where there is cake, there is hope.

And here, at one point, I thought we were reclaming things and off to a good footing.

Glad you think I'm a jerk. You're welcome, as is everyone, to form your own opinion.

As for saying that I "abhor the idea of individualism", you are sadly mistaken. The intent behind my statement was that over time, I've seen things in human nature when they group together that make me highly distrustful of them. I also do not like much of society in this aspect. Honestly, you are directly supporting my observations at this point. Good job! You get a gold star

I'm sorry you so fervently disagree. But, much as my own, it is your right to think and form opinions as you wish.

Nice bit of editing there

Yes, because I just assumed you were a socialist. I will put it back if it is true.

And because you fell into the trap of making an assumption, you completely retracted your statement? You see, I am a little surprised by this. Why? Because I think my statements through and edit as I make them, my friend.

You apparently were applying a bit of CYA out of oh, who knows. Shame? Guilt? Hmm. This could be a long term subject for thought.

So, I tell you what....I'm a jerk, and I don't think you're being reasonable. How's about we leave it at that and just drop this?

I think in the long run, we'll enjoy the day much more. Don't you?

Fair enough, that was what I thought was your opinion when I made my comment about preferring a peaceful political displacement of corrupt officials rather than a violent revolution.

I definitely overreacted.

If you don't want to provoke an immediate negative response, don't use the rectum analogy.

Oh, and btw, I didn't say "rectum", I said orifice. You chose to interpret it that way

There should of been a revolution in your country allready in 2002 when it was obvious they were lying about 9-11 and starting illegal wars and then again in 2009 after trillions were spent on bailing out white collar criminals considering how the DHS etc has armed itself in the past decade its now beyond salvation about your only hope is a military coup led by a benevelant General or Admiral your Republic is dead

That sounds like some Gestapo methods and not the way its actually used that it is kinda like the Gestapo but not really if you look closely, it would be a carbon copy of gestapo holding cells for political dissidents.

Did anybody come forward with his own experience at an American gulag? Or is it all hearsay? Who is incarcerated there, what could the country gain by stirring up waters with a bombshell like that by going after petty criminals?

No, we did that already and it didn't work out.

The solution is to deprecate power as soon as it is identified to be corruptible.

Very true but, that is a very intentional design feature of our constitution.

The larger problem is that our senators are no longer elected from their own states' legislatures but, by popular vote. This has removed a critical cog in the wheel of checks and balances because states no longer have senators, they just have a redundant set of more powerful congressmen.

The tyranny of the majority is what has caused our resulting downward spiral into serfdom.

Good government is ineffectual.

And to think many of us were called crazy, tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy nuts when we called this a few yrs ago.

Peace

How many more times do the "conspiracy theorists" have to be right? They were right when after the war it turned out the jews weren't resettled in the east and that death by starvation and they have been more right than wrong since.

I have NEVER called someone a government shill before. even when I violently disagree with someone......but that may change....

Fact is most people on this thread are finding it hard to believe I do too.
And what we want is further investigation.

The fact that your doing your best to deflect the issue to off topic foreign affairs and doing you absolute best to to discourage any further investigation into the matter or label those that want the matter looked into "anti American" raises alarm bell.

Even if one does not believe it true they should AT LEAST be wanting the matter investigated even if its to just to confirm nothing is going on.

I'm with you 100% on the suspicion of shillery. I'm far from a Shill hunter, and I know we aren't supposed to talk about other members, but this guy constantly repeats some of the most bizarre pro-corruption talking points. You can always count on him to dismiss anyone who is even slightly critical of wrong doing.

When a report of wrong doing comes out, and the best you could come up with is "anyone who considered the possibility of wrong doing is anti-American" over and over in thread after thread, it's hard not to raise an eyebrow.

To suggest it's anti-american to ask questions in regards to something that goes against our foundation of freedom is just bizarre. If anything it's anti-American to prevent people from trying to preserve our freedom. It's anti-american to protect people that would ruin this nation.
