There is a phrase YHWH who dwells between the cherubim. It is a formal title, that is repeated over and over. Every time there is a Theophany there is the same pattern. YHWH in the midst of the cherubim. We see the 2 cherubim when Abraham meets God before Sodom and Gomorrah. Two angels accompany him.

X I X

When adam and eve were kicked out of the garden and the cherubim were placed there with the sword of fire. The word for placed or stationed is Shakan:

[Gen 3:24 KJV] [24] So he drove out the man; and he placed[H7931] at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
[Exo 29:46 KJV] [46] And they shall know that I [am] the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell[H7931] among them: I [am] the LORD their God.
[Exo 40:35 KJV] [35] And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode[H7931] thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

The sword and the cherubim are dwelling, just like the pillar of cloud or fire is dwelling in the midst of the cherubim.

Where did God meet with Adam and Eve? In the midst of the garden. When they left the garden they looked back and saw two cherubim surrounding or covering a flaming sword (pillar/sun/son). That is exactly what you would see looking back into the HOH if you were to leave it. The cherubs on the veil were a representation of the cherubs in the HOH where God manifested, dwelt.

BTW the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life were both in the center of the garden. Sort of like the ark. Which is two parts. Two materials. The gold represents the tree of Life and the divine nature. The shi ttim wood represents the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil or the Material nature. When Adam and Eve partook of the TOKOGAE fruit they had to leave the midst of the garden. On their way out they were given a garment of skin. A garment of flesh. They were born into the world as humans. That veil is the veil of death that covers over all people. That veil is the veil that covers the HOH. It is the mind of flesh that divides God and Man.

When Adam and Eve looked back they saw the cherubim guarding the way. They were seeing themselves for the first time. But what they saw was an enigma. Like the riddle of the sphinx.

[1Co 13:11-12 KJV] [11] When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [12] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

phrase glass darkly is literally "in a mirror an enigma" , Adam and Eve were as children as we are, seeing an enigma when we look in the mirror, not understanding what our true nature is. They were seeing the woven veil cast over their faces. The skin garment.

[2Co 3:13-18 NET] [13] and not like Moses who used to put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from staring at the result of the glory that was made ineffective. [14] But their minds were closed. For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read. It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away. [15] But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, [16] but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. [17] Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom. [18] And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Moses and the law= the ministry of death, the veil of death, the shadow of death, the covering cast over all people that kept the glory of the Lord from the people, AKA the cherubim Veil, The veil of Flesh, the mind of Flesh, the mind of ADAM.

The Lord is the Spirit, and where does the Spirit dwell? In the midst of the cherubim. (And the cherubim cover, see the veil above.) In Christ this veil is removed. It was torn in two at his Cruxifixction (when the Rho was hung up on the Chi, the Lord dwelling in the midst), and Hebrews speaks of that veil being his flesh.

In the above passage 2 Cor 3 most translations leave out the part about reflecting the glory AS IN A MIRROR. The word mirror only shows up 3 times in the NT, I've listed two of them. When we look in the mirror what do we see? Our skin, or garment of skin, that is the veil of death that covers us all. It is the tabernacle for the LOGOS. God dwells in each one of us. But most don't realize it. But that is the point of Paul's message.

We all with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being transfigured (yes exact same word, metamorphoo) into the exact same image.

The last use of mirror comes in James

[Jas 1:23-24 NET] [23] For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror. [24] For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was.

The word for "sort of person" is genesis. He has forgotten his genesis nature. When he looks in the mirror he sees the woven covering. The flesh man, the 1st Adam. He doesn't see or remember his divine nature. His view is veiled.

OK I know I got off track but I'll clarify if you need. Gotta go. BTW Origen and Andrew Jukes are where I first heard of the Garden and HOH link. All that I've laid out here is my own synthesis.

The reference to the Roman veil "sudarium" regarding (as a metaphor) the truths and untruths and purpose of withholding what information to the general pagan public? You are saying this was initially a 'Moses' tactic/invention borrowed by the Romans to hide significant truisms; who is God whom are the divide the lower half/quarter demi-gods, structure of their government regarding human subjugation. The AUO allowed for this (information seeking mode).

I think Moses is a combination of a historical kernel of truth, mixed with a mythological hero, then taken and used as a tool of propaganda by the Deuteronomists and the empire (whether Persian, Roman, Holy Roman, or the current world empire). They take the powerful truths, and twist it just enough to draw, but not enough to free. They use divine archetypes because of their power, but then saddle you with dead law.

I forgot to add the connecting point of the word meanings I posted.

The gospel of John says "and the word became flesh and dwelt among us".

That word dwelt is to tabernacle skenoo, which comes from the word skenos:

skenos
[2Co 5:1, 4 NET] [1] For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is dismantled, we have a building from God, a house not built by human hands, that is eternal in the heavens. ... [4] For we groan while we are in this tent, since we are weighed down, because we do not want to be unclothed, but clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

skenos comes from skeneG4633
[Act 7:44 KJV] [44] Our fathers had the tabernacle[G4633] of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
[Act 15:16 KJV] [16] After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle[G4633] of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
[Heb 8:5 KJV] [5] Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle:[G4633] for, See, saith he, [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
[Heb 9:3, 8, 11 KJV] [3] And after the second veil, the tabernacle[G4633] which is called the Holiest of all; ... [8] The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle[G4633] was yet standing: ... [11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle,[G4633] not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
[Rev 21:3 KJV] [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle[G4633] of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.

The word skene is apparently related to the word for shadow Skia:

[Mat 4:16 KJV] [16] The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow[G4639] of death light is sprung up.
[Luk 1:79 KJV] [79] To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow[G4639] of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
[Col 2:17 KJV] [17] Which are a shadow[G4639] of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.
[Heb 8:5 KJV] [5] Who serve unto the example and shadow[G4639] of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
[Heb 10:1 KJV] [1] For the law having a shadow[G4639] of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

The veil/tabernacle/flesh/cherub covers, coverings create shadows, the tabernacle of moses is the tabernacle of death. The tabernacle of death is the flesh or the mind of flesh. The shadow of death is living in the shadow of the law of sin and death. Burdened by the heavy yoke. Shackled to the death machine of the empire.

How could any man want to dominate another man? Because he does not see that they are one and the same. They are living out of the mind of flesh, the Adamic mind. The fruit of the adamic mind is Cain. Murdering your brother. But the mind of flesh is at enmity with the mind of Christ which is the unveiled mind, the circumcised heart(flesh cut away from the head). 1 Cor 15 details this, but Jesus in the Gospel of John says it best, showing the fruit of the Last Adam, or True Human, the Mind of Christ:

[Jhn 17:21-23 NET] [21] that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. [22] The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one - [23] I in them and you in me - that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

What you’ve written makes the Garden of Eden and Holy of Hollies connection, make a bit more sense.

This is all background to show the overlapping, repeating, fractal image of the cherubim surrounding or covering the central axis, which is the Sun in the zodiac layer, The tabernacle/temple in the world layer, the pillar of fire in the temple layer. The head/Son/Logos in the mystical layer.

The axis/pillar/sun/fire/head manifests in the midst of the cherubim. The cherubim are the symbol of the body, or the created realm. This is the flesh, or the veil of flesh spoken of in Hebrews, and also in Isa 25.

I personally think the 2 winged cherubim in the HOH, evolved from older traditions found in Egypt, and were passed down onto Moses; Namely the “Aker”…

The “Aker” depicted a double lion image, facing away from each other, which represented the beginning and the end of each day. The Lion on the left was named, “Sef” meaning “yesterday”. While the Lion on the right was named “Tuau” - meaning “today”…

IMO…It’s kind of representing the Alpha and Omega, with the Sun in the middle being representative of the Eternal and creative force/power of God… It’s similar to the glory of the Lord, viewed as Fire/Sun…

Aker

In your 4 cardinal directions, the East is represented by the Lion, and the Sun just so happens to rise in the East…I think that is why the Lion was chosen, although in later time periods, the (Aker) Lions were replaced with sphinxes (with wings)…

I personally believe that same motif is represented in the familiar “Winged Sun Disc” from Egypt…and finally evolved into the 2 winged cherubim, of the Ark…IMO

I see the Garden of Eden story as metaphorical…so in a broader wider sense, it’s telling a story of man moving away from the knowledge of God and into his current fallen (Adamic mind) state…

I personally see things like God walking among them in the garden, and then Adam/Eve being banished later etc… are all inner/outer reflections on mans spiritual state…so Yeah, what you’ve wrote makes perfect sense to me…

Although I wasn’t aware of all the etymological aspects, so thanks for that…

This is great. Man has indeed forgotten his genesis nature i.e. his eternal and divine nature, blinded by his own flesh…

Not just Moses as archetypal; include Jesus's circumstances of birth as well that encompass many other beings Horus, Osiris, Gilgamesh. Its a good script (shakespearean) that seems to work throughout centuries, civilizations (OVERLAY) filmatics as described this world observing itself NOW. Dead law is just physical DEADFALL (not spiritual).

No one understands this life; as well as were previously prepared for it (upon incarnation) YOU FORGOT YOUR INTENT, and have to rediscover what it was. This is very difficult (almost impossible). Karma is based upon this forgetting as is sticky and easily feed upon by those that are negative forces.

Yes absolutely! Look at Akhet

In ancient Egyptian, the place where the sun rises and sets; often translated as "horizon" or "mountain of light". It is included in names like "Akhet Khufu" (Ancient Egyptian name for the Great Pyramid) and Akhetaten. Betrò's book names the hieroglyph: 'Mountain with the Rising Sun', and the hieroglyph is used as an ideogram for "horizon".[1] In ancient Egyptian religion, the Pylon mirrored the hieroglyph for 'horizon' - akhet, which also was associated with recreation and rebirth.

Aker and Akhet are two parts of the same.

I actually have been meaning to add a post about Aker/Akhet to my first post (sig line).

The architectural representation of Aker/Akhet was the Pylon

In ancient Egyptian theology, the pylon mirrored the hieroglyph for 'horizon' or akhet, which was a depiction of two hills "between which the sun rose and set."[3] Consequently, it played a critical role in the symbolic architecture of a cult building which was associated with the place of recreation and rebirth.

The place of recreation and rebirth was the temple in Israel. The whole cultus was built around the Sun/God impregnating the Mother/Temple, and the Divine child being born. The high priest would enter once a year (a woman could only give birth once a year). He was wearing all white like a good little soldier or erm semen. When he was born he was the representation of God on earth. He was the word made flesh. Margaret Barker writes extensively about the 1st temple cult, she is considered to be one of the top scholars on the subject by liberal and conservative christians alike. My summary of her thesis (generally) is: The high priest goes into the Holy of Holies, which is him actually going into the Holy of Holies in the heavens. She relates it as a Merkabh mysticism. He enters the first day of creation which is outside of time, and encompasses the alpha and omega, the entire thing. When the person receiving this vision returns, and is born out of the holy of holies, he is now The Lord.

Beyond the Veil, Margaret Barker

Josephus, who was himself a priest (Life 1), says that the tabernacle was a microcosm of the creation, divided into three parts: the outer parts represented the sea and the land but ‘...the third part thereof... to which the priests were not admitted, is, as it were, a heaven peculiar to God’ (Ant.3.181). Thus the veil which screened the holy of holies was also the boundary between earth and heaven. Josephus was writing at the very end of the second temple period, but texts such as Psalm 11 ‘The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven’, suggest that the holy of holies was thought to be heaven at a much earlier period, and the LXX of Isaiah 6, which differs from the Hebrew, implies that the hekhal was the earth4.

Those who entered the holy of holies were entering heaven. When Solomon became king, the Chronicler recorded that ‘he sat on the throne of the LORD and all the assembly bowed their heads and worshipped the LORD and the king’ (1 Chron.29.20-23). Something similar was said of Moses in later texts when much of the old royal ideology was transferred to him

This is all followed through with jesus, and the books of John, Hebrews, and Revelation are all about this, along with parts of Pauls work. The third heaven vision of Paul was a changing point for his theology. The revelation of the mystery that was hidden/veiled from long ago:

"Christ in you is the hope of Glory" The Logos dwells in you.
"The two shall become one flesh, this is a great mystery concerning Christ and the church" Theosis, the uniting of the head/divine with the body/material.

----Real quickly here. I don't equate our actual material nature as evil or something to be against. Its the mind of flesh, that is the veil. The mind that separates the Man/Head/Holy of Holies/Heaven from the Woman/Body/Temple/Earth that mind is the problem. I am not an ascetic. I believe the Incarnation argues against the material being evil.----

Ok all of that as a primer to this concept. The temple was seen as a woman. The temple represented the material world. The Holy of Holies was within the temple, yes but was seen as "separate", as it was the heaven. So it was a picture of the incarnation. Word/Divine/Heaven dwelling (tabernacling) in the midst of the Flesh/Material/Earth. The sun was a representation of the SON/seed of the Father. The vision of the woman in Revelation with the Sun in her belly

[Rev 12:1-2, 5 KJV] [1] And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: [2] And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. ... [5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.

So we have established the temple as a woman, and surrounded by the cherubim/zodiac/tribes. Here is the earliest representation of the temple, its an aerial view, as God would see it.

Egypt to Israel in Symbols

The 4 cardinal points are given

Reuben the Man--Aquarius the first born--South
Judah the Lion-Leo--East
Dan the Serpent/Eagle--Scorpio--North
Joseph(Ephraim) the Bull-- Taurus--West

Now look at the Qodesh Stele again, with my notes:

I just discovered this 2 days ago. I've been contemplating this image for almost 2 years now, after I happened upon Resheph in the Habakuk 3 theophany. I had not made this connection before I started this thread!!!!

Do you know what the tabernacle is called? The Qodesh QDS. That is the word for holy in Hebrew.

The holy of holies is the QDS of QDS.

The layout of the tribes is according to the cardinal points, being the 4 pillars of the earth, also the 4 heads of the cherubim, which are the outward manifestation or glory of Yahweh. They are the covering, as they surround the tabernacle/QDS. The cherubs are always covering (I'll do a whole post on them). They are the active outward manifestation of God.

QDS the tabernacle of the sun. Yahweh was seen as coming into his tabernacle as the sun coming from the East and in the "fullness of His glory being like the light of the sun at midday". The sun sets in the west on the horizon Which is the letter Q's meaning. The D is the daleth, Door. All ancient temples had the symbolism of a (wo)man laying on her back.

The temple was The Lady, laying on her back, feet facing east, where the rising Sun would enter her, make her pregnant, (the pregnancy was when the sun went through the underworld, which is the phase most of us are in now, the shadow of death, inside the veil), then the Son/Sun would emerge the same way it came in like birth.

Continuing:

Now look at the Lions/Aker/Pylon and also the twin pillars of Solomons temple. They represent the legs of the woman laying on her back. The sun in between them is the the Sun/Son seated on his throne, in the woman. The mountains (Akhet symbol) are an analogue of the lions. The mountains represent the breasts, and beyond them is where the sun resides which is the bulls horns or head.

The Aker/Akhet/Pylon is the land view from the east of the Qodesh Stele, or the Israelite temple. If you draw a line straight up the middle of the Lady you have 3 of these representations X I X

The legs/vagina being the first which is Aker/Akhet. This is the first door bringing you into the woman. Only priests could enter, all dressed in white linen (symbolically sperm). Raiment like the sun.

Then the next X I X is the cherubim throne in the holy of holies.

The final X I X is the bulls horns with the Sun in them. This represents the resurrection. The west (Ephraim/Bull/Bull horns/Apis=Osiris) was the land of the dead. Though really to be dead was to be truly alive to the egyptians, that is what the Osiris story is about. The Father dies (unless a seed falls to the ground and dies), but his seed is born (through magical/mystical means), this seed is The Father in type.

The path the son takes (you) :First through the entrance into the woman, this is from the outer court which represents the sea. The sea is confusion, chaos, this is no belief, understanding, youth. What do youths want to do?. You enter into the woman through the vagina which we can still see representation of in arched doorways of churches. This is through the legs or the lions from the east heading west. (Lions represent the violent nature of youth).

Then you enter into the earth which is the Inner court. This is where the nation of priests hangs out. This is the room of exoteric religion. This is the room of working, busyness, working for religion. This room is where most of the religious hang out. It is a room that is still in confusion as it is outside the veil. This is also all the sperm that have entered into the woman.

Finally one sperm out of the many enters into the Holy of Holies which is represented in our East to West pathway as the head. The head (see man as head of woman in Pauls theology after the revelation of the mystery), or the crown of the bull with the sun in it is the final resting place of man. Where the two have become one flesh. I and the Father are one.

This is the meaning of the man is the head of the woman. Any sort of flesh mind understanding of this as man dominating woman is completely off, and is what happens when those in the inner court mind aka the religious, aka Moses (who didn't enter into the HOH or the promised land, but died right outside of it) try and interpret the divine revelation. Only in Christ aka the Mind of the LOGOS or God, "Christ is the wisdom and power of God" is the veil removed.
