You might enjoy this. An emotional rollercoaster for me. All acoustic guitar. One of my faves hands down. He has various versions of this song. It's progressive, so requires a full listen to appreciate it.

Here is a another version. It's also probably my favorite version.

I don't know if i'd say it's the most beautiful, but it defiantly hits the spot and puts me in a great mood.

Is my avatar really upside down? It's right side up as I see it but maybe I'm upside down inside out. It a painting my husband did of the girl from Afghanistan, maybe you could post a photo of the painting you can see from your place, I would love to see it.
Back to music.... If I could put a tune in it would be one from the Bonobo album I mentioned before which can't remember the name or the name of the track, but it reminded me of a fairy gathering, OR a track by Talvin Singh on an album which I won't try to spell and am to lazy to get out of bed to find, but it's friggin amazing. a reply to: SecretKnowledge

Thank you for sharing, I have never heard of them before....indeed it is beautiful. This is going into my "music to look into folder"

I too would like to share one I think is too beautiful for words. From the soundtrack to the movie Moon. Also, if you haven't seen it, you should. The music makes the movie and the movie makes the music. I recommend the whole soundtrack, but this piece is my favorite of them all.

As a big trip-hop fan I can suggest a bunch of good groups / good tracks. Not necessarily new per se. What's new mean to you?

Secret Knowledge some of Bonobo's tracks have indeed been categorized under 'trip hop'. This is one of those obscure categories though that not even the groups sometimes approve of being labeled under.

Well thats a bit ridiculous, but if it keeps people in jobs then fine.

Obviously Portishead and Tricky would be a couple of trip-hop artists take come to mind

Morcheeba too.
