How do we upload gifs. into our photo booth(?)

Is it the same as a normal upload?

I'm using an iPhone and I think that's hindering the process...

Because all I can do with gifs is "save image" & it's basically a freeze frame of the gif.

Is it more of a PC/Mac/Laptop upload than a smartphone thing?

I don't know how a phone is different from a computer, but I upload it the same as a jpeg, if that helps.

Thanks for the links guys, but I think those threads are for still pictures, rather than video gifs.

I'm gonna try it on a laptop rather than iPhone.

www.abovetopsecret.com... this one should cover gifs i think

You have to save a gif, and upload it to your ATS media centre. After saving the gif, click on the down arrow (up the top), and then click on 'upload'. When the page loads, click on the 'upload' button, and proceed to click on 'select files'. Choose your gif, and then hit the cloud button. Afterwards, to embed. You click on the gif, and copy the link under the title 'BBcode for use in post', and post it in a reply or thread. For example:

It could also be the size of the gif that is the problem. I think above 500kb and it won't load. DAAS has the right way to do it, if the gif is too big it should come up with an error message when you upload.
two posts from other members that should be relevent

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Explained simply. If that isn't working then either you're having a slow day or the Matrix hates you.

Copied and pasted yours from your quote...

In the photo album, when you click the picture that's uploaded, does the drop down BBCode have .gif or .jpg...

Mine all have .jpg and when I C&P the BBCode and alter the last bit to .gif I just get little boxes.
