Photo of Obama was used by local station in CA to represent a rape suspect

The photo of the president appeared on KSWB when anchor Kathleen Bade said 'The only suspect in a sex assault at SDSU [San Diego State University] will not be charged.'

KSWB soon cut to footage of a different man with authorities, as Bade announced 'The District Attorney's Office says they decided not to file charges against 20-year-old Francisco Sousa because the evidence against him is weak.'

According to the Times of San Diego, the photo of Obama - which had the words 'NO CHARGES' underneath it - was shown Friday at 10:04pm.

The Times of San Diego was the first to report on KSWB's error.

Friday the 13th luck?

At 10:04 p.m., viewers heard anchor Kathleen Bade say: “The only suspect in a sex assault at SDSU will not be charged.” At the same time, a picture of Obama appeared with the legend “NO CHARGES.”

“Yeah, there was an accident when they had an over-the-shoulder” display, Wille told Times of San Diego. “It wasn’t on purpose.”

Asked why there was no on-air acknowledgment or apology for the error, Wille said: “They really don’t do that when it’s a small thing like that.”

Wille said no calls were received during the newscast about the Obama picture.

With as many fans that Obama has either no one watches the news anymore at all, or at least a few called and he ether wrote them off and didn't answer. Granted this is a little piddling thing considering all the other stuff in the news, but I highly doubt this was done on "accident". Somebody had to set up Obama's picture and set it up with no charges underneath it. And of course, it's a Fox affiliate.

In fairness, Obama did rape our country and the Constitution.

Maybe a DNA test would clear this whole thing up?

I don't see the big deal here, I don't know how many times I've watched the news and they show a picture that has nothing to do with the report.

just more foxphobia.

Hey, they got the wrong President up there.
Everyone knows it was Bill Clinton who kept visiting convicted pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein’s “orgy island” where underage girls were taken to be raped.

And the B I T C H * S in Congress allowed it to happen.

An IQ test to personify their incompetence, stupidity and neglect.

Years ago, I was watching TV and a news banner scrolled across the bottom that said "Clemson Tigers eat boogers." I was like WTH? I asked people later if they saw it and they thought I must have misread it.

Turns out some young guy at the station was playing a prank on his co-worker in the editing room (who obviously missed it and failed to edit it out.) I think the prankster got fired.

Hadn't thought of that in years!

Since when did the media not slant or do things for ratings. It is never about the truth unless you get your news other than the MSM. From several sources and compile info to find the truth yourself. I have been on the news myself i know how they slant a story for ratings / protect business and gov.
