A Twitter troll is harassing the family of a Sandy Hook victim, and it took 24 hours to help

Yep, I'd also believe that - I'm asking out of curiosity, have you taken any kind of psychology or psychiatry courses? If you have, then you know that people deal with stress in completely different ways - I didn't cry for months after losing my Grandparent, and even the day after I got the news, I was laughing and smiling; it didn't hit me yet.

If you are asking for my opinion on the video, even though it is a tangent away from the OP's thread, I'll give a short summary:
1. The smile looked forced in the beginning, like the kind you'd get if someone tried to say something funny, and you put the smile there to just let them know you heard them.

2. The deep breaths are nothing new - I did the same thing to keep from crying when I went to tell my boss I wasn't ready for the new position. The deep breaths give you something to focus on, to fight the tears from flowing.

3. I saw some reflections on the cheek, close to the nose around the 1:48 minute mark that did not appear to match the lighting conditions for the rest of the cheek. Now, keep in mind, the video quality is not the best, so my evidence is at best the same as his. But when I look at myself when crying, the tear marks are close to where I see the reflection on him.

4. Why no tears or red eyes? Depends on when this interview actually unfolded. If your going to make a press conference, I'd expect you would be told to do it when you are at least calm and collected. I also see a tint of red in the full video, which I have posted below.

5. Bonus - To me, the facial emotions match. He's trying not to cry on camera. Notice in the video below, he's "stretching" his face (making weird faces). The easy term is "swallowing tears", and I can't explain why we do that, but I do the same thing.

Your kidding right? The guy took nearly a full minute in front of a camera he did not think was live trying to make himself look sad right after his daughter was supposedly killed. Any normal father would have been distraught or down right fit to kill.

Also, the reason why I'm taking it to PM is because I happen to like this thread, and would rather see banter involving me go into my PM box. At the least, respect the OP and put it there.

And if I seem snarky, it's because I really didn't see you provide any evidence to support your claims - I gave personal examples, and even took the time to research the actual interview video, vs what was posted which was clearly opinionated.

It is not derailing the thread when this guy is not harassing anyone who has lost a child because it flat never happened.

Half the country knows it did not happen. Normal everyday people who do not get into conspiracy theory's were flat shocked when the one video about it being a hoax ran around Facebook.

There is way way way too many holes in the story let alone obvious actors and don't even get me started on the guy playing the part of the chief medical coroner from the county who is not smart enough to even graduate high school and acted like a complete Buffoon. You can seem snark all you want, it does not avoid the fact that you are running scared just like everyone from the Sandy Hook Facade.

I'm not afraid, nor scared; I live quite close to two cities where people kill each other just because they don't like something about you. So to me, while being unnatural, I can wholly believe that such an event happened. Saying everyone is running scared seems to be a bit bold, for youtubes that are already in line with your views.

Going back on topic - I kind of wish someone had saved the tweets from this particular person on Twitter, because I'd like to read some of the content that they provided (I like to see both sides of the issue, even when it counteracts my viewpoint).

Heres the breakdown.

The person doing the harassing is - in my opinion - either an evil idiot or mentally ill and in need of serious help.

The statement I made was deliberately provcative for a reason, and that is that people were defending his right to do what he pleases, so I took the liberty of doing the same.

Turns out that the people who were defending his right to say what he thinks it didn't like it when I did my verison of the same - that or they just want to score "points" against a staff member who made a very blunt point.

Their argument initially was that its "the internet" and that you can say what you like here...until I did the same and then its "you can't say that!, its outrageous!"

C'est la vie.

Heres what I actually think.

About the story - The story came to me via George Knapps Facebook feed. George Knapp is a many time Emmy award winning journalist and two time Peabody award winner. He is a friend of the site, I've interviewed him on the radio and if George links to something you can bet your ass its legitimate.

My personal opinion - People are trying to put their gun ownership rights above the grief of parents of dead kids and have, since it happened, been trying to concoct a false flag story in order to justify their stance.

Either that or they are in denial that such tragic events actually do happen in the world.

As I said earlier, the individual doing the harrassing is one very sick person indeed, and riding a karma train of epic proportions.

You just come across as an insane hypocrite. On one hand, you want typing about people to be equated with harassment and punished by law. Then you come up with a post that could very much be looked upon as inciting violence and vigilante mob justice, which is obviously illegal, because someone said stuff you didn't like.

Now I know you like to use hyperbole and satire to make your point, so I doubt it's a serious remark. To people that might not know that, you come across like a nutjob, that would advocate violence against people saying things you do not like.

knowing that Sandy Hook was wrong in so many ways,knowing you cannot get FOI from Sandy Hook, knowing they(people of Newtown) clam up when asked questions,knowing no ambulances or medics were allowed into the school ,knowing you don't bring lunch or stop to get coffee for your fellow parents in the middle of a massacre,knowing they demolished the school before a proper investigation,knowing the whole thing was scripted,knowing the fundraisers were up and running well before the first shot was fired and not just one but many, knowing so many benefited($) from this false flag through charities knowing the deaths posted well before it happened,knowing none of it makes sense nothing adds up.
Knowing all of this I am more afraid of you than I am of this troll because you... are part of the problem in this country.
