Well it seems we have a problem within our Federal Employee ranks.

Recent reports from the Inspector General have many working on time and getting paid for watching porn on the internet !!

A lot of this behavior was inside the EPA of all places !!!

Now however, the U.S. Congress is acting with a bill to put a stop to this.

I wonder what the managers will do now?

Has the evidence been backed up or deleted?

Bill targets pornography viewing on agency computers

Federal employees shouldn't watch hours upon hours of porn at work, according to a new bill from Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.).

The Eliminating Pornography from Agencies Act would try to stop federal employees from accessing, watching, or sharing pornography on government- issued computers and devices.

The inspiration for the bill, said Meadows in a release, came from Inspector General reports on the Environmental Protection Agency. The IG found multiple cases of EPA employees working hard at watching porn.

Woha !!

Are Those Jobs *Really*

That Boring?

LMAO!

That is just faptastic that congress has to legislate this at all!

If federal workers need to watch porn, then they should join the porn industry!

Or maybe the federal gov needs to take over and run the porn industry!

Do we really need a bill for this?!
Must be that small government approach.

Jabs aside, pretty sure they could take care of this with out wasting our dime putting this bill through the works to get passed.

Keep in mind, we pay for every minute of their deliberations.

Should we not simply fire everyone who violates policy?

Why are they wasting our time and money on an embarrassment as if it merits any consideration other than contempt.

sheesh what ever happened to watching it at home?
there must be some sexually frustrated married men/women working in those places if they need to watch porn

Environmental Protection Agency, America, government job, bureaucracy, testosterone.

I vote sexual frustration from stress. But to be honest, I think ALL males, boys and men alike, are vulnerable to looking at porn and/or wanking at any given time or place if nobody is around. I think many businesses monitor employees' online activity nowadays.

Maybe Anonymous will publish the names and addresses of the employees who looked at porn... and the porn sites they looked at. bigblackbodacious

It might curb this..

Link

A 2006 Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation into the purchase of child pornography online turned up more than 250 civilian and military employees of the Defense Department -- including some with the highest available security clearance -- who used credit cards or PayPal to purchase images of children in sexual situations. But the Pentagon investigated only a handful of the cases, Defense Department records show.

But as most laws go.. I dont think it will be used for the intended targets...

Did anyone get to the bottom of the article?

On top of the damage a co-worker who watches porn at work does to office morale, it's a safety issue.

Been a problem for a while throughout the government--entrenched bureaucrats without much to do, or a lot to do that they are blowing off. Goofing off has always been one of the perks of having a .gov job.

I love it when my tax dollars are spent on government employees watching porn instead of doing their jobs.

The only thing that beats that is robbing from the rich to create more government agencies where their employee's watch porn instead of doing their jobs.

The only thing that tops both of that is when the IRS seizes bank accounts of people that have done nothing wrong.

How much more crap are people willing to let slide ?

This crap is just ridiculous.

Oh yeah that sure is government is us, and their doing things right.

You would think.

But Obama's pen isn't working too well is it.

This problem is at the Executive Branch level.
