Well since apparently accusations are being made lets talk about zero hedge. First it is run by a bulgarian trader. his father runs a for lack of better terms a conspiracy sight and a political and business consulting company in Russia. He has been proven to get his stories directly from RT as we all know a Putin controlled media source. An example of the obvious link was when he ran the story about Ukraines gold being missing and tried to follow the RT story line and that it disappeared when Victoria Nuland (one of RTs favorite victims) was in Ukraine and ran with a story of US stealing gold.

Problem was only days after Yanukovych fled Ukraine Yatsenyuk said

that the former government had left the country with $75bn of debts. “Over $20bn of gold reserve were embezzled. They took $37bn of loans that disappeared,

www.theguardian.com...

So it was a well known fact that there gold reserves were gone months before zero hedge put out this article to shake up the american markets. This is basically an attempt at gold manipulation in the US market. Luckily wall street already knew indeed where the gold went it went to Russia with the late night flight out of Ukraine by the former president. Have to wonder if the guys loading the cargo plane knew what was onboard that night. But that could be a thread in and of itself. Zero hedge had a purpose it was during the american financial crises he first started the anti american blog to attack US financial markets. Luckily many recognize it for what it is a Putin mouthpiece but it has its uses it gives you an inside look into what the Kremlin is trying to put out publicly on financial markets.

Now since i apparently lie feel free to disprove anything ive said about zero hedge. But my warning is simple if zero hedge said the sun came up stick your head out the window and check.

Welcome to the club...but don't expect anyone to prove where you lied, as I asked before and it was never shown.

We are a very elite club it seems.

Bump.

US military staff stopped in Vienna when trying to bring weapons to Ukraine (article in German) :

So 9 US soldiers en-route to Ukraine for joint training got separated from their group, had to recheck their items, and were stopped because they had their weapons with them.

The soldiers were detained and weapons secured until their story was confirmed, at which point they were given their weapons back and sent back to the US.

check...

The US military has been training Ukraine military near the Polish border. Or was their some other intent for posting the article?

Happens all the time when military takes civilian flights. A couple of calls and it gets resolved and their on there way.

It's indeed no indication of massive weapon smuggling.

When you hire a contractor to fix your roof, it's normal that he takes his toolbox with him. But in this case, maybe the US could consider a military transport or at least a charter plane ...
Warmongering on a budget is not easy .

Think in this case they want to avoid military transports entering Ukraine. Think about what conversation we would be having then.

They used to fly commercial domestic flights all the time with their weapons. The airlift fleet is limited, and has more important missions to be doing than simply flying small numbers of troops around, especially if they're not moving any equipment with them.

I think the main reason the RF would be pissed at het US supplying Ukraine with arms is that Ukraine is currently using a lot of former USSR weapons and the RF see's a ready market on both sides........
