So why now? Why not attack all 20 of them while they were traveling a few years ago? Or maybe there is a specific reason 20 of them were out on the trip overseas rather than jut 1-3 people. Were they spied on and tracked? Were they set up to go overseas?

I forget where I read it but the new piece stated that there were also some of the world's leading experts and scientists with regard to HIV Research and other things on the plain. That alone makes one wonder about the disappearance. This just reinforces it. I am not a conspiracy theorist at all but even I am compelled to go in the kitchen and make a tin foil hat right now.

The first thing that came into my mind was who was important on flight 370. This patent is why Flight 370 was hijacked.

Dead men tell no tales- but that means their secrets die with them.

Look at Operation Paperclip; the men responsible for the V-2 rockets that terrorized Europe could've died in Germany or rotted in prison-but instead they were whisked away to the US and they took their secrets with them, and a few years later OXCART was born.

TBH I don't think it has anything to do with self driving cars- DARPA has been holding challenges for years and we are no closer to having the self driving cars that were promised years ago and the closest that production cars have got to self driving cars beyond concept models is intelligent braking and acceleration.

Nevertheless the situation is worthy of attention-If the projected crash site is to be believed then not only was the plane off course but a long way from home and that should raise a few eyebrows

The plane you are talking about was brought down and yes it did have HIV specialists on board, But the plane that the OP is talking about is the one that vanished somewhere in the Indian ocean. Not the same plane.

So I'm going to say it one more time. The plane is at one of the poles.

Crash a white plane at one of the poles and you have a disappeared plane.

You're really reaching Gazrok. I've been in the semiconductor industry for over 20 years. These guys were most likely fab operations engineers, judging by a reuters article, who specialize in optimizing productivity and yield at semiconductor plants. The article stated they were heading to a particular chinese plant to help increase productivity. Thats it.

Usually you're not going to send patent holders somewhere for a secret meeting, because the patents belong to the company and not the guy at the company who created it, and therefore, if you were going to send someone it would be an executive and a crack team of lawyers.

And yes, Freescale mostly makes "jelly bean" parts, or a handful for a penny. Slim margins, so they're perfect to build in China. Their parts may end up in an automated car, but only as supplements to help the key chips do their job.

And as Bedlam said, its mostly a software equation. There's plenty of horsepower in the current generation of chips, so someone needs to slog out out all the code for it.

Thanks for the additional info. As I mentioned, it was just a theory, and an interesting parallel and coincidence.

Mostly, just has to be SOME reason that plane was INTENTIONALLY vanished. To say it wasn't, is just ignoring the evidence. The pilots seemingly deliberately went off flight plan, deliberately disabled location devices, and deliberately flew in a manner to avoid detection. So why?

If these 20 were just more rank and file guys, and/or the company just isn't that much in the forefront, then seems to be yet another dead end,

SEEM to. Electrical problems are going to cause the same effect. As systems fail they're going to go off one at a time. Or the breakers are pulled shutting them off because of a mechanical problem.

I think that's why we WONT be seeing a self-driving car offered to the general public anytime soon. There is more money to be made in the insurance industry.

If anything, self-driving cars will be used for public transit (think taxis) first, and probably for a while.

Besides, how well do self-driving cars do on snow/ice? Are the computer systems advanced enough to drive as well/better than an experienced winter driver on mixed ice/snow? I don't see self-driving cars being used in a lot of Northern cities because of this. Sure, we can get them to drive in sunny, warm places on perfectly dry pavement...

Pray tell me...why do you think this? Other than it was real popular on conspiracy websites for a while. Because it's neither a major patent nor is there any reason to kill them for it.

Have you read it? Do you have a clue what it was? And in the part you quoted, is your answer: look in the assignee field. Freescale, like any other company, owns the patents created on the job.

Speculation is pretty much what everyone's doing, lacking the airplane.

That's why it's just a general conspiracy theory. I don't think I ever touted as anything but an idea and speculation.
The more time passes, the less our chances of ever seeing anything concrete about this plane's disappearance.

Not a lot was said as to why the pilot loaded extra fuel for the flight / the cargo maybe it was Gold instead of battery's and the phone call to the cockpit just before they vanished ,all weird

Pilots load extra fuel on flights all the time. Winds are stronger, or there's weather along the way, so they add more fuel. As far as pilots are concerned there's no such thing as too much fuel.

I wondered when someone would catch up

Iridium
Main article: Iridium (satellite)
Motorola developed the global communication network using a set of 77 satellites. The business ambitions behind this project and the need for raising venture capital to fund the project led to the creation of the Iridium company in the late 1990s. While the technology was proven to work, Iridium failed to attract sufficient customers and it filed for bankruptcy in 1999. Obligations to Motorola and loss of expected revenue caused Motorola to spin off the ON Semiconductor (ONNN) business August 4, 1999, raising about $1.1 billion.

Motorola manufactured two satellite phone handsets for this network – the 9500 and 9505 as well as transceiver units. Some of these are still in production by an OEM but sold under the Iridium brand.

So..........
Now it seems some are on the same........wavelength lol

maybe you should search for any threads of interest here on ATS regarding

IRIDIUM.

I gave up piecing it all together for you but it's all there.
laters.

In regard to the above you're still missing it aren't you?
Motorola
Iridium
Iridium Constellation
66 satellite's all in an orbit of?????

You jave no idea how much this thread is on par with what I have shared.
However due to the many areas connected makes it impossible.
I can't jyst twll you all I need......well I don't need, I am simply pointing and where I point I drop a connectiin in the hope you do your own research.
But you dont.
No one does.

This thread you are reading is what I would say as in the right direction.
To find the truth you must dig all the way back to the root.
not necessarily to the iridium following an asteroid impact but even if you were bothered to make the connection between
FRANCE
and
Iridium bar would be enough.....I hope
