Implant this chip in a soldier in battle and you would know their location.
If this soldier is captured, you could use this chip to track him down and make a rescue.
Very interesting application for this chip, locate lost pets, track down prisoners or probation violators, sex offenders, keep track of children.
Hmmm, maybe George Orwell was right.
