Yes. One that is likely to last quite a while if you look at orbital and axial conditions which exist today.

Most CO2 scenarios (15) led to an exceptionally long interglacial from 5000 years before the present to 50,000 years from now (see the bottom panel of the figure), with the next glacial maximum in 100,000 years. Only for CO2 concentrations less than 220 ppmv was an early entrance into glaciation simulated (15).

the problem i have is that burning fossil fuels is creating pollution.. regardless of what that pollution does to the temperature it is impacting our livelihoods..

one day we will be breathing in air quality similar to what china and india have to deal with..

I agree . We are at the very end of a interglacial period. And a new and like clock work

That would be a large deviation from the last 2 million years.
We have been thawing for 12,000 years. I'd love to see evidence
in the last 2 million years of an interglacial period lasting 62,000 years
because that's analmolous and not scientific.
For the last two million years it's been 90-100k of ice and 7-12k of thaw .

Humans did warm the planet with hydrocarbons but temps and co2 are way off now.
If we think our puny contribution of heat will keep us warm as the Sun
continues its dive to slumber, we are dead wrong.
Sunspot counts and temps will be found to be a much better correlation than co2
and temps.Regardless of politics It's gonna get cold folks and soon .

The Sun and its currently shrinking heliosphere are the boss of all climate on every planet.
I'm not pro oil by any means and we need to clean up our act,
but the IPCC not taking that million mile wide lightbulb into consideration
as far as variability is puzzling .The Maunder Minimum started with its sunspot
plummet almost exactly the way our current count is going.
