Where to begin on this one ? So the highest LEO in the land said his greatest failure has been the inability to enact new gun safety laws, and more intrusive background checks! Well yeah it would be since it is congress's job to pass bills for them to be signed in to LAWS. Ya know ? I wouldn't say asinine gun laws was Holders biggest failures. That would be in the realm of Fast, and Furious. Not enforcing immigration laws. His willful violation of the first amendment going after journalist's, and the EPIC failure of race baiting trying to start the race wars between Americans. Holder has quite a hell of a lot of failures, and I am glad the so called gun lobby won.

WASHINGTON - The inability to enact new gun safety laws after the Sandy Hook school shooting ranks as "the single failure" of his tenure, Attorney General Eric Holder said in a televised interview .

Now let us not forget society already has laws that says it'sillegal to go around shooting someone else. There are also laws on the books that make places gun free that are not so gun free.. Let us not forget the willfully fourth amendment violation of the background check. Let's us not forget all the hoops us lawful gun owners have to jump through to even buy one.

Let' us also not forget that those gun control laws. Punish people who have done nothing wrong ever, and have to prove ourselves worthy of ownership.

I guess forget about that due process, and the other amendments of the bill of rights. That guarantee due process, and crimes be proven in a court of law.

None of us gun owners have ever had our day in court, and yet all of us have to pay for what the Lanza's, and the Holmes have done. Even more interesting is the Presidents Prayer speech, and how we are not suppose to go around judging entire groups for what the actions of the few do, But when it comes to a different issue ?

Well that is a different story entirely. See people before terrorists ?

There were gun owners.

You cry about the Patriot Act ?

You cry about the TSA ?

They have got nothing on 70 plus years of gun control, and it's gestapo the BATFE.

Seems to be lot's of epic failure to go around, not by the majority of lawful gun owners.

Now is that really fair that gun owners have to be held accountable for the crimes of someone else ?

No.

That people is where the real failure is.

Everytime they start talking about gun control they always forget their armed bodyguards. No surprise.

So he is admitting they didn't want that crisis to go to waste.

Yet a bigger failure is the failure to prosecute illegal immigrants.

Being found in contempt of Congress is no big deal ?

The man is possibly the worst AG of all time.

And that is saying something.

Holders biggest single failure was taking an office he had no intentions of upholding in the first place.....
His next biggest failure was staying there so long......hes a puppet.

He is not sincere. He is taking the "bullet" for Obama, so to speak. He is playing up to the anti-gun lobby and taking on a responsibility that is not his to begin with.

I got news for him: His single biggest failure was ever accepting the position of AG and then not acting like one.

His agenda has been clear, his actions unmistakable and his rhetoric total BS.

They don't count. He would tell you he only needs them because he couldn't get new gun laws in place

"One of the things [that] I learned is that you've got to deal with the underlying social problems if you want to have an impact on crime - that it's not a coincidence that you see the greatest amount of violent crime where you see the greatest amount of social dysfunction." -Eric Holder

Just replace 'social dysfunction' with 'social engineering' and he really is onto something!

Except Chicago, a city with the strictest gun control laws on the books tell the reality of the delusions of Holder, and everyone who wants people to dial 911, and wait for the police to come save them.

Gun control worked?

Chicago would be Mayberry.

Well about the only thing that remotely resembles that is we have Barney Fife as AG.

Indeed, I actually pulled my reference to the dropping national crime rates lest someone attempt to assign him credit.

False. Barney Fife was still occasionally competent and knowledgable. And had a boss who fixed things for him.

Just sayin

And just think.

All those Chicago gun crimes are using illegal guns.

The oxymoron of the century !!

Since guns were outlawed, more guns have been used in crimes than ever before !!!
