That's pretty much what it looked like. Once they had him out they could help him straighten his legs, and after a few minutes standing he was fine.

Hawaii to the east coast..... That's what 10 hours? I assume they were booking it over the ocean to cut it from 12 to 10ish

It's about 9.5 going east, and 10.5-11 going west usually.

Although a personal friend of mine who is ex logistics did get very much inconvenienced once in convoy in Iraq and had to resort to pooping under his trailer whilst under fire

I did it on a dive once. There is a hand signal for "I am about to lay one". One guy gets upcurrent and stands safety watch.

I caught # for it for months. But sometimes it just happens. It's much worse in a dry suit though. You sort of expect wet suits to be neoprene toilets.

Man, I destroyed the bathroom at the "little Alien" in Rachael, NV when I was roughing it at Area 51.

This thread just went to a weird place. Lol.

This thread has already taken one bad turn. One bad turn does NOT deserve another.

We called it...preconditioning.

eta: to keep the black secret theme so it's not 100% off topic, the secret hand sign is to hold your left arm across your chest with the knuckles of your left hand under your chin with your left hand cupped downward. Place the back of your right hand under your left elbow, cupped downwards, then flick the fingers of your right hand a few times.

Sort of like this, but with some right hand action...

You didn't say what SORT of black secrets. Now, did you?

well be careful there. lol. nobody inadvertently got it right. the person who used the word wasnt talking about the aircraft at all. it was just a word he used in a random sentence.

Well with these hints I can venture a calculated guess based on the the fact that a collection of airplane drivers with the same (nick)name did some very specialised and secret jobs during one of the wars the U.S. was involved in in the last century. The F-117 companions job is sort of similar although the old method was much more primitive and dangerous!

I know that you will never confirm the name even if I am right, which I am probably not
, but it is fun to do research. You learn something new every time

Thanks to you all for all the contribution to these threads. Reading them is really enjoyable and usually gives me a startpoint on what to research/read next
