I said it is limited due to being always a semiconductor.

There isn't much specific research information on the specific properties and applications of penta graphene available as yet. However it typically is graphene and is stated as always being a semiconductor.

With it always being a semiconductor, does that mean that it's electrical applications are limited? I'm not exactly an electrical guru so I'm admittedly a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

So i post a valid question,
(i cant take responsibility
if you "feel" offended)...
There is NOWERE in my
posts OR questions ANY
signal or implication of
beeing rude...

I asked a valid question.
You refused to answer
i ask why... Thats it...

Let's not derail the thread with troll accusations and whatnot. I think this topic is really interesting and would like discuss it a little more.

About limitations:
Oh sorry not derailing any more...
Constructive:

"Insulators are substances that do not conduct electricity very well.
Conductors are substances that conduct electricity readily.

A semiconductor is a man made material that can be made to conduct electricity at some times and not conduct at other times.

Using this behavior, semiconductors can be used to make devices that act as controllable switches, controlling the flow of a large amount of current with a smaller voltage or current. In this way, a small controlling voltage or current can be amplified to drive things such as speakers and motors.

A large number of these semiconductor switches (called transistors) can be built on tiny pieces of silicon and used perform calculations. These devices are the heart of every personal computer.

So in summary, semiconductors allow electricity to be used to perform just about all of the useful functions you see in everyday life."

Soooo ALL sorts of uses...
Sometimes on, sometimes off...

Weelll, you cant eat it, i might stretch to call that a limitation...

EDIT: YES, its VERRY interesting hence why i ask questions...

So perhaps these new graphene structures (along with other previously discovered graphene structures) can be used to make ever smaller computers? I believe Michio Kaku said that wearable computers the size of a contact lens will be a reality within the next 20 years, could this be the precursor to that?

Mmm, instead of looking at the screen,
you just put on the lens and display
the information directly to your eyes.

OOOR...
You make multilayerd sheets, say
meter"2, put that on any spaceship.
Run a current and have an EM shield
protecting against radiation....
Seen as it is extreeeeemly strong
and sturdy id say micrometeor shield
aswell... But you still cant eat it.....

With radiation shielding being one of the biggest hurdles to manned space exploration, I'd say that's worth looking at. A thin film over the entire spacecraft that could create a magnetic field analogous to earth's field would certainly go a long way in reducing the amount of radiation astronauts receive in space.

Mmm...I think to get the EM thingy you´d
need to do it like a coil...
But as a kinetic/heat shield sure...
But maybe more the a thin film...

Or on the shuttles, The godd@amn tiles
keep faling of... So a multilayerfilm of
graphen should do the trick....

Nooo im not gonna say it anymore

It just came to me....

Weightloss...
Make the ships of wood and dress it with this....
