WHO OWNS THE FISH.

There are five houses in a row and in five different colours.

In each house lives a person from a different country.

Each person drinks a certain drink, smokes a certain cigar and keeps a certain pet.

No two people drink the same drink, smoke the same cigar or keep the same pet.

The Brit lives in a red house
The Swede keeps dogs
The Dane drinks tea
The green house is on the left of the white house
The green house owner drinks coffee
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
The man living in the house right in the centre drinks milk
The Norwegian lives in the first house
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the man who keeps cats
The man who keeps horses lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill
The man who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer
The German smokes Prince
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
The man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water.

Who Owns The Fish

Just to give you all an extra incentive I will say I have 4 correct answers. So if you want to be on the roll of honour there is one place left.

OK,even though I have received only 4 answers I'm going to give the roll of honour including how long it took them from the time I made the original post.

Because of the nature of board life some people will come in late and will want to work the puzzle out for themselves if so do not follow the dots down to the next post.Time how long it took you and compare it to the correct answers below. You can then let us know how long it took you.(I'm sure we're trust you to be honest)

Just at the last momment I got a 5th correct answer.
So:

5th-Twisted Vertex-1hr 13mins

4th-William-39mins

3rd-KOS-20mins

2nd-Real Deal-18mins

1st-Ultra-Phoenix-15mins

Einstein said that only 2% of the worlds population would be able to solve the problem. On average ,during the last hour and a half,16 members were logged in yet I received 5 correct answers.

Just shows you ATS members are smarter than even Einstein thought possible.

Well done all that took part.

Oh by the way it was the German

As lots of us got it, does that mean that Eienstein wa wrong about the % of people who could solve it,
or was that part just tacked on the end to make people feel good and give it a bigger challange?

I have one:

John and Jack were found dead in their cabin. There was no signs of force entry, murder, or any foul play. Only thing in the cabin was a puddle of water on the floor and shattered pieces of glass. How did they die?
