Have either of you seen the film 'The Theory of Everything'?

I have.
Brilliant film. I cried through the whole thing.
But, on topic: yes, he has recently stated that he IS AN ATHEIST.
On the other hand, Dawkins has admitted Agnosticism.

I suggest you look up the meaning of Gnosticism and Atheism on both counts you are wrong.

Yes I had a brain fart.

It was a stinker.

I truly wish more conversations were recorded about the topic in regards to Mr. Einstein.

I am off the mind that his views likely went far beyond a simple belief/disbelief paradigm. People tend to clench onto the perception that agrees with their own, but I suspect it was a topic of deep reflection for Albert Einstein.

I have yet to see a real, in depth conversation actually attempting to explore the topic. Even outside of the Einstein qualifier. The most direct identification of a system with the parameters given by most religions points to the universe itself as well as the laws that gave shape to everything we know.
