The US Embassy notified Americans in Kuwait of a high likelihood of terror attacks in the near future. Evidence at this time does not point to
specific targets, but the embassy suggests that it has credible evidence. Although Kuwait has not been a high-profile target in the recent past, the
linkages between the US and Kuwait make it attractive to terrorists.
The U.S. Embassy on Wednesday warned Americans in Kuwait of possible terror attacks and urged them to exercise caution.
In a message e-mailed to American citizens, the embassy said it "has credible information that terrorist groups are developing near-term plans for
attacks against unspecified targets in Kuwait."
The embassy asked the 13,000 Americans registered with it to "exercise caution, maintain a low profile and avoid areas where Westerners are known to

It's hard to say how accurate, or useful, these warnings are, but the relative lack of terrorism since 9-11, despite warnings of increased terror
from experts, seems to suggest that messages like this have some sort of credibility and positive effect. Seems like an interesting story given the
Saudi story posted earlier today.
