I think this is pretty neat and worthy of an ATS dissection, of sorts. In China, a retired man has built a Robot Horse in a string of other things he's built including a road driveable helicopter and a robot. This new invention is said to be for farmers, however, it doesn't need food or water just oil.

Su, who lives in the Shiyan, in the eastern Hubei province of Central China, is something of an avid inventor. He has created a mechanical robot and a helicopter designed for the road in the past. This time, his petrol-powered horse was inspired by the mechanical inventions of Prime Minister Zhuge Liang of the Shu Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms period about 1,800 years ago. Among Liang’s inventions was a “Muniuliuma,” which was a freight transport vehicle that moved military provisions over rugged terrain

No conspiracy here. I just think this is cool-an individual doing innovative things. It used to be like that here in the U.S. but now everything is too political and any innovation gets squashed by lawyers. Nowadays, the only ones who seem to do any innovative things are big corporations. What happened? Anyway, back on topic. What does ATS think of this creation?

Don't want to diminish this achievement, but it's more a mechanical machine with a horses head, than a horse. The legs, for example, are not jointed like a horse.

Now, this is an elegant machine...

He'll make even more money when Google swoops in to buy it ...

(Google's been on a buying-spree of robotics companies.)

That's a neat machine but a terrible horse.
