I have an ethics question.

You mentioned Iran/Contra ealier on in this thread.
If another scandal like that one occurred and a member posted verifiable, incriminating documents which implicated members of the government, would you allow them to remain on the site even if you asked by the government or other official agencies to take them down?

Hi boss

here are my questions.

1. Not including your super Skeptic avatar, what is your favorite avatar on the board at the moment?

2. Do you ever have dreams or nightmares about ATS, or can you totally switch off from it?

3. What gift would you like to find under your christmas tree on christmas morning?

4. You have access to 'Deep Thought' a super computer that can calculate the answer to life the universe and everything. We already know the answer to that is 42.
What question would you ask it next?

5. What has been the highlight of your time here on ATS so far?

If given the option, what would be the one thing you would change in this world that, you believe, would make the biggest positive impact for humanity?

Are you left or right handed?

What is the most valuable trait that you believe a person should have/acquire?

Hi Skeptic,

thanks for taking our questions

I can't believe that no one has asked this one yet.

Would you be willing to give all members some ATS points for Christmas ?

1000 would be cool. Of course the member who thought of this and actually asked should get , ummmm 100,000 !!!

if that's not possible, then I'd like to ask...

If you were president of the United States, what is the first thing you would do ? How about a serious answer and then a fun answer ?

thanks for playing.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!

1. do you think it's funny that people call themselves 'skeptics' and yet are the first ones to swallow mainstream pablum like it's comin' down from the mountain on stone tablets?

2. if you know, please tell us which cabal planned and executed the kennedy assassination?

3. would you say that was the end of the archetype of america as 'land of the free, home of the brave'?

4. as a science-minded guy, do you feel the peer review process is being used to squelch some developments(specifically medical and energy)?

5. if you wrap an enigma in a riddle, and then wrap that in an enigma, would you set the oven at 330 degrees or 451 degrees?

Preamble: Everyone has "core" values and some form of "morals". Since there
be great disagreement in these areas, we bring "ethics" into play, whereby all
who "agree" to be bound by a standard set of rules now become players
in ethics. Violations of ethics then has consequences.
ATS has a business type of ethics called "terms and conditions of use".

Question One. Since standards must be measurable to determine violations, and
that violation is independant of the violator, does ATS have boundary conditions
for its own ethics?

Question Two. (That was a lead in to this one) SO, without defining personal ethics,
do your "personal" ethical standards fall in line (100 percent, 90 , 85, etc...) with the
ATS "evolved" business ethic ?

SO,

Mary and John are on a train to Hackensack traveling a mean speed of 60 mph. John is 6 years older than the train engineer and Mary is 2 years younger than the conductor. The man sitting directly in front of them is wearing a red shirt. If the earth rotates at a constant rate of approximatley 1038 mph, how much wider does the door have to be to get the couch in the room?

Bonus question:

Will it require a chainsaw?
