That`s the thing which has been touted all over mainstream news in the Netherlands from day one up until now, so can you blame him?

With how the Ukrainian army now is sending troops on suicide missions and the Separatists who are shelling them to death, he might not make it.

He gets my respect of thinking he did the right thing. But there`s also a change he only gets wounded, and how bad it must be to later hear for him what really happened over there.

Partially yes. Even if you are dumb enough to believe the (dutch) media it doesn't mean you should go to the Ukraine to fight the Russians. It's not his fault he is retarded but it is his own choice.

I am obviously not sticking up for the Dutch press, I absolutely detest them.

The Ukrainians are so desperate for canon fodder they will send anyone at the moment. If the media hadn`t been blaming the Russians so directly, I don`t think he would have gone, and if they would have told it the other way around, the Separatists probably wouldn`t have taken him in.
