Army generals of Ukrops need to rise to the hour. A responsibility of an Army is to protect a nation from enemies both external and internal.

Is that not what they are trying to do, but to some on here they aren't supposed to be doing anything and they should just let the separatists do as they please.

But that's not fair, as only Russia is allowed to train anyone when it comes to Ukraine.

It's amazing that Russia is allowed to arm the separatists send troops there to fight, but let someone help Ukraine and the world is at war with Russia...the mindset of thinking like that is just boggling to say the least.

People also really need to consider this particular dynamic of the current conflict as apposed to some typical East vs West scenario.

Its something the few Ukrainians and Russias I meet talk about is the fact a great many businessmen essentialy maintain private security forces, this practice goes on fairly unregulated has done for a long time and has done nothing but compound matters considerably.

Much like anywhere else if you want to understand this conflict its probably worth investigating the geography of the resource rich Eastern Ukraine, what corporations are involved, who extracts that wealth what corporate ties they have, where do they get arms from etc.

My fear is that Russia will lose patience and conduct an all out attack and then commit war crimes on the areas and residents of region that was formerly known as the Galician Republic.

I don't want any people to suffer.

Time to formally split Ukraine and bring peace to region and people. This war can spread very quickly and ultimate weapons put to use in a hurry.

Really have to disagree here it is in no one's best intrest to allow Russia to continue to grab land from its neighbors. First Georgia AND Everyone Kind Of looked the other way. Next they move into Ukraine thus time the west is at least voicing there opinion. But in truth should be sending in troops to remove the Russians.

See sanctions will eventually work but in the mean time thousands of Ukrainians die in a conflict created by Putin to avoid loss of his influence in Ukraine.He lost Poland now even Belarus you really can't use force on your neighbor without others getting nervous and looking to alternatives.

No country is going to agree to be split up especially if it's going to have to give up its territory to an invader. Only peacefull solution is Russia recalls it's troops. And took on an active roll in negotiations instead if trying to hinder all attempts. All those Ukrainians being killed is squarely on Putins shoulders.

The good news is western leaders are more cautious and selfish types and more so after the horrible experiences in Iraq. In certain geopolitical theaters, western policy is to play the cheerleaders on the side and if objectives are achieved then all so good. If the home team is not performing well then quietly slip out of sight at the game's end.

Russian dominated eastern part i.e. Donbass region, does not want to tag along with the Western bootlickers. It is the western part that does not want to let go because of much industrial and economical potential of the east. They have no love for the Russian speaking, Russia leaning people.

It is for the Bandera Suka-Bitch people to cut loose and go their own ways. That will end all the bloodshed and economic depression in what was called Ukraine till Feb 22, 2014.

Why should they move back to Russia when they are living in their homeland in Ukraine?
