This is about open society vs closed.

In other words Terrorism cannot be fostered where an atmosphere of mutual distrust does not already previously exist.

I Remember I was asked this question once, here on ATS an a thread titled...

What are we waiting for to happen?

The declassification of all intelligence agencies,
foreign and domestic...

Or this....

Which ever comes first.

That's what I'm talkin' about! This exactly should be the spirit of ATS, not what we have already had a gut full from the MSM - e.g. that EMR sensitivity is just a part of a weirdo's imagination because they want to think that they are somehow superior to anyone else who doesn't detect it. WTF? That the drones are there to protect "the good guys", or that mass vaccinations are understood to be necessary by mature people and that any criticism evolves from childish mentalities who have no understanding of "big boy's" science.

Hey NLBS! When are you going to create a video concerning sadistic pedophiles in elite positions of power?

The sooner people begin to realize the sooner the manufactured revolution. From a governmental standpoint, if you're gonna have to have a revolution, it might as well be one you control.

They have mastered this game LONG before any of you were born. If it took you 20, 30, 40 years to catch up, I'm pretty sure your #ed anyway. They control the money system, they control the education, they control public transportation, television, radio, HISTORY BOOKS. They control YOU!

Land of the free all right. Free to assume you're free.

I couldn't agree more... these agencies are out of control!

It could be spread even further into agencies such as NSA, ATF and DEA, but you definitely hit the two worst on the head

Well done, WarminIndy.

Everyone who is concerned (and everyone SHOULD be) would do well to read Jeremy Scahill's book Dirty Wars. Then we should round up the war-crimes perpetrators in our own country, and remove them from society altogether.

It also reveals how the FBI and CIA fight like siblings, and withhold information from each other, not just from We the People. America appears to have gone insane, not just to the rest of the world, but to us, too. I can't imagine how more demoralized we can be without an actual revolution.

The madness is so deep, the regular Americans are so entrenched in pop culture that they can't see past that to see the truth about what is really going on.

I will say this, look up Walter Plecker and Margaret Sanger, two very prominent people who forced public policy and then years of propaganda against the races in this country.

The United States citizens would do well to actually look into who starts propaganda instead of falling for it. I can mention many instances of propaganda, but people are so into pop culture, they actually are terrified to go against their peer groups because they might look stupid, which is what young people are told daily, by those same forces that keep young people ignorant of truth.

This is what we are dealing with, a terrified population that believes if they go against the group that they will be called stupid, and yet, that's exactly what they are. Sad thing, really.

Good thing you and I come from a time when we were still allowed to exercise our rights. My first year in college in 1985, I knew that I was allowed to stand up for what was not right and challenged my professor who was trying to enforce something that had nothing to do with what the class was about. Today, if you challenge a professor, your life becomes miserable.

Well I knew from the beginning the war on terrorism was nonsense because the United states could have fought it without sending a single soldier overseas. At the time 9/11 happened the American people were so upset that we would have given the president the authority to secure our borders and stop all travel from the Middle East but it didn't happen. Look what we did during ww2 we put japs in internment camps after pearl harbor we didn't let them run around planning attacks on our soil!
How hard would it have been for bush after 9/11 to have a press conference and tell the Middle East look you hit us once so we are stopping all travel of Muslims to the United States and if you hit us again we are dropping a nuke on Mecca problem solved no money spent on 2 wars no dead soldiers ,no dead civilians! To me this is kinda like if someone breaks into your house and you don't fix your front door but you drive around town and randomly attack some person for breaking into your house.
Now If you think I'm advocating nuking other countries you are wrong the point I'm making is the United states never acted like we were at war after 9/11 we acted like we wanted to make a lot of money for the military industrial complex!

Ok if that's the case I'm fine with America developing more energy alternatives here at home closing our northern and southern borders ,stopping all immigration and travel, stopping all foreign aid spending ,shut down all military bases throughout the world, maybe we should just follow a policy of isolationism and let rest of the world deal with its own problems. I'm sure Russia,China, and North Korea would behave nicely if we were not part of the world picture lol!

at last count, there were over 300, three-letter agencies in the usa. removing 2 is not necessarily going to fix the problem, since it's not entirely clear what all 300 agencies do.

no, WE are not. also, the chances are the real culprit is the type of governments that arise from socialism (such as fascism AND communism). might want to modify that image to contain the hammer and sickle as well.

Very good OP.

Americans face a very difficult task: how to put the toothpaste back into the tube. This is not going to be easy. It will require very wise political leadership and nerves of steel, For one of those rare times in history America is once more facing the task of facing up to itself.

It has done so in the past and those events were usually in very high contrast to business as usual or walking on international ground swinging a big stick.

The Civil War. The New Deal.

These were situations where very wise and determined leaders altered, very deliberately, the course of the nation, to steer it out of great peril. We are in one of those situations now. The country needs to be rescued before a younger generation grows up with the idea that what they see now is what has always been.

In the last 50 years or so the economy has had its ups and downs but the ethics and morality of the country have been in a prolonged and steep decline. The country cannot survive under such circumstances. It may exist as a military dictatorship and may be called the United States of America, but it won't be the same country.

There is a limit to the number and size of the crimes a nation's leaders can commit without bringing the entire nation into threat of the consequences of pervasive moral and ethical collapse.

When the security services of the country, in connivance with members of the nation's elite ruling class, cooperate in the importation of vast quantities of narcotics, the situation is perilous. That is only one instance of dangerous and reckless behavior that has become routine, practically institutionalized, in the United States. I could go on but I won't.

The United States is rotting out from within. I have no idea how the process can be stopped. It has gotten beyond the need for a coherent economic plan that addresses the real problems. Giving a liver transplant to a hopeless alcoholic is not a solution. How about a transplant plus incarceration? America's solution will have to be some kind of multiple whammy, because just one good idea is not going to cut it.

Only way I see for things to change is to have a revolution or to have a state convention which is allowed for in our constitution! I don't see americans getting as pissed off as they should we seem to be more concerned with the Super Bowl !

Your insights are impressive and well-expressed! Sadly, elimination of corruption would take decades or even years to happen.

That would be nice, but why does the CIA construct coups in places it doesn't need to be in the first place?

Notice the problems that I mentioned in the OP. Fix those problems first.

You know something funny, in another post I reminded a young person exactly what the name of the Nazi party was, they were so disconnected because they are for socialism.

I said "You do realize that the Nazis were called National SOCIALISM, right?" and that young person got upset because they thought I was trying to "attach" socialism to the Nazis. I was like...excuse me, the very NAME of the party WAS National Socialist. The disconnect was astounding.

And the Russians were the USSR, the Union of Soviet SOCIALISTS Republic and East Germany was the Deutsche Democratische Republic.

I don't think those things are being taught anymore. I said "ironic, isn't it?"

We have to start somewhere.

The longest journey begins with a single step.
