Greetings,

Well, I never knew this about the Octopus and it has simply blown me away. In this video one of the guys starts talking about how the Octopus will find a hole and if its tentecles touch water it will " Fit it's whole body " through the hole. He will go through anything his beak will fit through, and yes Octopus have beaks

Now, this hole is so very, very small and the Octopus is a decent size. You have to see this to believe it

Just WOW

all those heavy elements would be quite a squeeze for this little inert conglomeration , I can imagine it taking quite a few millennia just to squeeze through ,say , the opening of a small sized coffee jar.

hmm maybe on mars caffeine is just as addictive to make the effort

An octopus is one of the most intelligent creatures around...I always wonder...what if they lived for 100 years and had an education system to teach them octopus things...imagine how much they could learn.

They are amazing. They'd be terrifying if they weren't limited by the beak because then they could squeeze through stuff like the Blob.
