That post loses me. How is the left happy with crumbs? The rest as well, escapes me.

Nickle and diming the evil rich hiding behind government, and their social programs.

Crumbs because there is a hell a lot of overhead. The people never see.

I think you're kind of missing the point of the argument.

I don't care who's doing the spending, I care that they're allowed to do it at that level.

I see nothing wrong with a huge donation to a party or representative running for a seat. I think the only people entitled to complain about it are the other candidates who don't get a slice of the pie. A government where no one can contribute and they strip all wealth away is called a what?

It's called an authoritarian Progressive's cream dream.

I don't generally like republicans hard ideals on the world stage, so I'm generally something like a conservative democrat.. But why the hell does it matter who it is..

We are not playing for brownie points. There are no teams.

You are either shaping America and the World, or you are not.

Would ya lookie at dis!

While I don’t agree in referring to rich people as “Evil”, Democrats are often making such accusations. But what most people don’t realize is that the Top 3 “richest” people in the country are all Democrats. This list includes: Bill Gates, Warren Buffett & Larry Ellison are all Democrats. Together, they are worth $126 Billion Dollars.

Lest we not forget, Democrats outweigh Republicans. Not only in terms of the number of uber-millionaires, but also with their net worth. In this Top 20 group, Democrats have a combined net worth of $263.1 billion dollars while the Republicans have a combined net worth of only $143.9 billion dollars – almost half that of Democrats.

newamericangazette.com...

All this Kochaphobia has no basis in reality.

I bet those rich Democrats are funding the smear efforts.

They target the ones who pose the biggest threats.

No my point was that if you call out the brothers one needs to call out all the contributors. Why didn't the op state that specail intrest groups have given this or that. Because they want to color the right as this or that when both sides are the same and do the same bulls#it. To me it is not denighing ignorace because if it was it would point out the corruption from both parties.

I personaly think that if congressman or senator or who ever goes into public office with x amount of personal wealth then that is what they should leave with not becoming millionaires from inside information.

This Is Not Democracy

Bernie Sanders' statement on the announcement by Charles and David Koch that they'll contribute $889 million during the 2016 election cycle.

I said the same thing when the current potus raised $2 BILLION dollars to buy the last two elections.

I smell FAKE outrage.

You like play partisan games when the OP said nothing of the sort.

All those uber rich donors are playing all of us, with our permission, thanks to the Supreme Court.

I wish their kids would tell them to not contribute any money to any politician. Then the pols would have to go get second and third jobs like their constituents. What more can the uber rich want anyway? Games, just games.

I don't see the problem.

If people sitting watching their televisions are so ignorant and apathetic that they vote based on 30 second commercials, then so be it.

The problem isn't the big money.

It's the small minds who are easily influenced by the big money.

At least the money is above board and visible.

Think about how it would be under the table.

again...big money.

Our populace has been purposefully "dumbed down" via a concerted effort at the national level.
